gah, I feel so far behind. Admit, I skimmed through some of the last pages cause work is hella crazy today and I'm running my department solo for the next few days.
hope my shower this weekend is as nice as those you ladies have been having! helped my mom pick up some decorations today during lunch; seems it's sprinkles and yellow rubber ducks lol
I'm just catching up, so I'm still back at vacuuming. I have hardwood and carpets and I use my dyson for both. Just switch attachments. I HATE sweeping.
Hadn't even thought of depends, but it does sound more convenient and probably comfortable than giant pads.
Whaaaaaaaaa
I leave for a weekend bc we were hosting people who came in for my shower, and I come back and... wtf happened over here?!?! I have some serious catching up to do.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, anyway.
Love,
Late to the party
@TAIRAIRAT, sorry, I forgot to mention your fur-baby! The cancer diagnosis sucks and I hope she stays comfortable and well long enough to meet your baby.
@tairairat So sorry to hear about your dog. Life is hard.
@BayCamp, I'm so glad your baby gave a wiggle! I was hoping by the time I caught up on the goings-on today that you'd check back in.
Work is cutting into my Bump time in an unacceptable manner. Also it is oppressively hot in here, and people keep escaping outside to soak up the cold. Have I mentioned yet that I wish I had scheduled my leave for a earlier than my due date? Yeah, I so wish I had.
Also f this back pain from sitting at work. It's maddening and making me hate my eager beaver young work neighbor who I have to train and who asks too many questions! Kids these days.
I'm jumping on the Depends train. I'm all about convenience.
December '14 November Siggy Challenge - How I Feel in Third Trimester
I've been working on logistical stuff for our move next week all day. I drank a Pepsi with lunch and LO perked right up! So that was a huge relief.
DH wanted me to get a 20' uhaul for our move, the largest they had available was a 14'. He's now convinced it's going to take us 4 trips since the truck is smaller. Apparently math is hard for him today and my patience is thin. We've done well with not fighting this whole pregnancy, this move might end that streak.
ETA: they flat out suggested depends in our birth class. I'm all about that.
I went to Target, the girl at the register looked at me like I was nuts when I said the baby clothes were for my baby. Seriously not sure how she missed the massive bump.

Cryssteen that is all very deep. I hope you've made some progress in figuring that out today.
Ha. I did not.
I worked a long, grueling shift today. I didn't have enough water and I didn't eat enough. I drove home and it took an hour. I could barely walk from pain. I'm now horizontal. Ow.
DH had a physical today...his first is several years. He always has this notion that he is very healthy, he's just got a bit of a gut. Today was a wake up call. His blood pressure was pretty high (150/108). He was put on medication and given 3 months to turn it around or he will be looking at more substantial meds. I'm nervous that it is already and issue but also hoping this is the kick in the pants he needs to get more active and start eating healthier. I worry about him!!
@misskilljoy I love the smell of fires in fireplaces/campfires. In the fall/winter I pull out my campfire scented candles. We sadly don't have a fireplace in my house
We got some flakes over the weekend, but nothing stuck. And we have wood heat as our primary heat- I love the smell! But I'm not ready to settle in for winter just yet. Maybe the long winters nap, but not the actual winter shit.
I know I'm super late in catching up and I'm not sure if anybody has said this yet because I'm on page 15, but @riansmommie and @twoandthrough tricare will provide a doula for you at no cost if your DH is deployed... Definitely look into it! I know it isn't the same as DH/family, but they are awesome advocates when you need some help!
Is anyone going to a haunted house ? My husband wants to go to one but it says "Anyone who is pregnant or thinks they may be pregnant, has heart conditions, is prone to epileptic seizures, is claustrophobic, or is in poor health, should not tour the attractions. " So should not does not mean against policy.

Epic gif sum up, @sysakbaby. And the Inigo gif was perfection @bowlwoman! I The Princess Bride.
I have a hand me down Dyson but maybe I need to do some research on a Shark? We have mostly tile, with a rug in the living room and carpet in the bedrooms.
@LadyThrice it is a good one, hay ride, maze, mansion, and graveyard. They change the theme every year, this year they added a paranoia section where you go through blindfolded holding on to a rope. It is $25 per person, $40 for the xpress pass to skip lines.

Went to L&D tonight since LO was significantly less active during the past 24 hours and DH was freaked. Early today I even got a chocolate shake and was eating various favorite foods of his to see if LO would get the LO moving.
Monitored on NST for 1 hr and was released with no issues noted. Best part was at discharge when the doctor told me next time if LO doesn't respond to a chocolate shake that I should then do a vanilla shake. Who am I going to argue with doctor's orders?
I'll probably order on Amazon though just to save myself a little bit of embarrassment.
Just wait for the awesome things Amazon will start recommending to you once you buy those. Something like - other shoppers for depends also bought.....Metamucil! Reading glasses! Ensure!

The only problem I had with the haunted house yesterday was the amount of walking necessary. It's at an old mansion. Big Headless Horseman thing in sleepy hollow. I actually gave my sister my tickets to another Halloween event I was supposed to go to next week. Just too much physical activity for me at this point.

I currently don't have swelling or get tired but I do get winded easily. Walking fast or sometimes just regularly I have to stop to catch my breath. And there is a lot of walking there.

Okay, catching up took me hours! Thats what I get for having a productive day at work!
@rainsmommie - So sorry that your H might not be able to make it home for the birth. Im just going to echo other posters and say thqt you should feel free to vent about it here anytime you want!
@brookey79 - you look great lady! Glad your shower went well!
@kimba1976 - Sorry youre on bed rest. I hope you start to feel better soon!
@hoping4aUNICORN - Such a cute picture! Looks like she had fun!
@allitor12 - That is so rude! Sorry you have to put up with idiots on a Monday if all days.
@3girlsnthepup - Glad your girls were able to spend time with your MIL. I keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers every day.
@BayCamp and @CandEChicago - My LO freaked me out today with a lack of movement too! What is going on with these kids?! She was only giving me a very few number of super weak movements this morning and afternoon which is sooooo unlike her. Luckily though, on my way home from work I was snacking on some apple slices she finally was giving me some good strong kicks. Glad all of our LOs are doing well!
@MaineMama - Oh no! Sorry everyone is feeling sick! Hope everyone starts feeling better soon.
@tairairat - Sorry about your pup. Sounds like you guys are doing what is best for her though. I hope the meds are able to keep her comfortable for a good while.
@ashtonkitty1 - YAY!! So happy for you and your H to be reunited! You made it girl!
I had to be productive at work today since I had deadlines and took tomorrow off for my 11am 3hr GTT and then my 2:30 ultrasound. But it was worth it since tomorrow will be enough of a pain with the GTT! I am beyond excited to see my baby girl again though! FX for good pictures for the first time since 13 weeks! After tomorrow, I just have to get through Wed and Thurs because I took Friday off to travel up to my parents' place in Buffalo, NY for my babyshower dinner party on Saturday. So excited!
Good evening! Today was so incredibly long. 9 hour day greeting and meeting realtors at a convention, get to do it again tomorrow. At least about 98% of them either didn't comment on my pregnancy or had something very sweet to say. Like "OH look at your cute bump!" "how exciting!!" etc. I did get one guy that said "oh, man, their making you work?" ... ? and a "oh you poor thing" to which I said "um I'm fine thanks"
Get to do it all again tomorrow! ugh.
Not sure why my photos didn't work before. I'm going to try again now. I guess there's a good chance none of you really care anyway lol. Oh well. :-)

We began with mods mysteriously disappearing Friday evening. And we were all:
Then we were invaded by Baby Center ... because those bishes were jealous of our swag. So we were all:
Then they ran away/ were banned by TLD who coudn't quit us:
Then because of the invasion and the weird creepy catfish on j14 some members GBCB and others changed their names and had their history deleted:
Then because of all the mod rebelling and such and the craziness with BumpJackie not being BumpJackie ... We now have BumpMay:
And that pretty much sums it up. Now the people who stayed have this thread and our happy again talking about randomness/symptoms/rants/etc:
::bow::

This happened last night, it was the first time I'd ever felt hiccups and they felt like they were in my butt. Pregnancy is so wonderfully weird.
@CandEChicago glad LO is alright in there!
