Every day feels like an eternity!

Is anyone else finding themselves thinking about their belly every minute of every day? I feel like the days are going sooooo slow! I don't have any symptoms, which is why I think I'm obsessing over how I feel or don't feel. My 1st appt isn't for another 4 weeks ...... That's so far away!

Meeeee too! I find out today if my hcg levels have doubled since my blood work on Monday so that I can know things are progressing normally. Being pregnant for the first time makes you so paranoid about everything!

YESSSS!!!! I have a hard time focusing on work or anything other than the little baby growing inside me!! I just can't wait for the Dr appts when I can hear the heartbeat and be reassured

FEELING THE SAME EXACT WAY! This is my first too and I'm so anxious about everything. When are you guys planning on telling your families?

@scorpio2124 our immediate families already know.  We are really close so we wanted to tell them.  As for the rest of our family/close friends we will probably wait 4 weeks.  Then we will go public after the first trimester.

This is exactly how I feel! What makes it even worse is I'm 6wks2days and I've only had urine confirmation and no symptoms so I stress that the baby is not okay. I have my initial appointment this Friday just for blood work... I don't know if I can wait to get an ultrasound until week 8-10!

Oh yeah. I must have found out at 9 dpo or something because my first ultrasound where I should've been 7w1d I was only 5w6d and a week later I'm still just 6w4d, but everything looks good. I'm eternally 6w pregnant! I have to wait 5 weeks for my next appointment. Mama needs a good hobby lol!

our ultra sound is in 4 days, feels like 4 years!!! its all i can think about and im having a hard time focusing at work.

O. M. G. I have lost all motivation at work and all I can do is count the hours and days til our first ultrasound. 3 weeks away. Does it get easier, biding-your-time-wise, as the pregnancy progresses??

I had my first ultrasound today and I was right with you ladies! I literally couldn't focus on ANYTHING while waiting, and I'll say this it was ALL worth the wait!

I'm with ya! My ultrasound/first dr visit isn't until week 10 and I think I'm going to go crazy waiting! I've had a lot of symptoms so I think things are fine but I really want to confirm!

6 wks. 1 day and same exact thing here. No symptoms whatsoever and only urine confirmation. It's good to know there's others out there in the exact same boat. Maybe, hopefully, this is another form of normal.

I had a dr. appt today which was basically pointless.  They confirmed via urine I was pregnant.. I could have told you that.  

It was more informational than anything.  I go back Nov. 13 for an 8 week visit where they will do my bloodwork, etc.  My midwife doesn't want to do an US until 12 weeks!! In case you didn't know I'm only 4 weeks and 2 days!!! THAT IS SO FAR AWAYYYY I won't hear the heartbeat or anything for another 2 months, and that alone is making me want to bawl my eyes out.

Yep.  Had my first appointment on Monday, just got my blood results back today so I feel a little better seeing my HCG, but my next appointment isn't until the 29th... not even sure when my u/s will be. My next appt is scheduled right around the time I lost my last little bean, so I'm really nervous!

we had our first app like that too and it wasn't even with a doctor or nurse. for 2 hours we answered questions like do you want to be on WIC and do you want free (crappy) prenatal vitamins? The second one, with your ob, will be so much better just wait

Yup, time is dragging on. I think it would be different if I felt good and could stay busy, but being on my ass feeling gross gives me nothing to do but think about being pregnant and read baby boards

@cmdd I hope so! I already am counting down the days!! Do you think they will at least check the heartbeat at my 8 week appt even if they aren't doing an ultrasound??

@CMDD what made them crappy prenatals? I get the free ones from my OB because they are awesome and don't make me puke like other ones I've tried.

Gah! I'm in the same boat!! My first apt isn't till this upcoming Tuesday and it feels like the days are just dragging on!! We are waiting for the US to tell our close family/friends and I just am dying inside to tell someone!!

As soon as I started my symptoms the days have gone by faster bc im purposely thinking about how to feel better.

Eternity!  I am hoping the u/s makes it more real!  Blood tests, sore boobs, queasy, exhausted, and I STILL feel like I need more proof!

October 28th, 12 more days...counting down.

My U S is Tuesday at 7:30 am I probably won't sleep a week Monday night:)

I feel you! I have my 7week u/s this coming Thursday and it is taking forever.... this is our first, so I really just wanted to hear the heartbeat to make sure I am in fact pregnant! Doesn't feel real yet! Other than the no wine part!

Mine is next Tuesday also!  I can't wait!  I'm so glad we are having babies at the same time again

Ugh I know! So. Slow. I found out so early and have to wait until 11/3 for first appointment. Feels like eternity. And to make it worse, I went for an early u/s and said I was actually a week behind of what I thought I was!! I don't know how to focus on anything else

Same here! I don't have an appt till 8 weeks, I still have 3 weeks to go! I have no symptoms at all and am terrified there's nothing going on in there. Last time I had an early ultrasound at 5.5 weeks and blood draws so at least I knew it wasn't all in my head! I thought chasing after a toddler all day would make the time fly by, but not so much.
