But maybe they could afford the expensive diaper bag because they saved money on other things by haggling. :-??
I get where @versed is coming from. No one should be buying a used car seat period. If someone is truly struggling financially, then a $40 used car seat is better than none at all, but if you have the means at all, a new car seat is one of the most important purchases you make for your child, even if it's the cheapest brand of new car seat there is.
