Haha. I went to a big Christmas shopping extravaganza Saturday and I was the same way with baby carriers. Strollers weren't allowed so everyone was wearing the babies. I know I looked like a creeper staring at all the different carriers and babies. Lol

So the lady checking me out at Walgreens asked me how far along I was.. unprovoked.. I told her she was brave for asking because most people won't. Her response was that she "just knows". Uhh.. yeah I thought the same thing until I asked someone who wasn't pregnant. I can tell you that it never ever happened again! (I was still in my teens when this incident happened. I am much smarter now)

Ugh nothing like H just making a random unnecessary inflammatory comment in the middle of a conversation while we're out to dinner to piss me off. I swear sometimes he is just looking for an argument and then tries to play dumb when I get pissed off. I'm sitting in the car now waiting for him to pay the bill. I don't care to get pissed off in the middle of a restaurant cause he has some bone to pick about something from 3 years ago.

Someone hit my dog today and just left him in the road. I was clearly at home, but they didn't have the decency to stop...just left him there. My Dad lives down the road from us and he found him. So I just had my first real bout of "pregnant crying"--but really I'm so pissed more than anything! I understand that things like this happen, but they could've at least stopped.

@jennypm No, he is gone. We picked him up and took him in about two months ago and he was just a pitiful baby...he had finally started gaining weight, growing, and playing! We meant for him to be a foster but we had gotten pretty attached. So of course now I am all "I should've given him away and he would still be alive". I know that's not the way to think but I guess that's my hormonal mind!

I only just discovered these less than a week ago when a lady was helping me at motherhood and sort of forced them on me with the comment 'you'll want to live in these' ... yep ... I bought two pairs and now need at least two more pairs, and I'm moving to yhe desert! Side note: I think my last experience with leggings was the stirrup pant style in the 80's ... oh the memories, haha!

I went to the drs today because over the weekend I was having some really bad cramps particularly when I pee, I was barely peeling at all, and I swear I was having braxton hicks. All turned out fine except for the fact im super dehydrated and the cramps hurt so bad every time I drink any water. So im frustrated, but trying to power through this. I never thought I'd hate water so much!!

So I got my A/S done last Tuesday. I was super excited everything came out well, since that's what this scan us and l about (and we got to find out the sex).

My problem is, though, that we have a couple great pics from our first two ultrasounds (at around 8 weeks and 12 weeks) and I really wanted a good second tri ultrasound pic. Well, all the ones we got are really blurry, and of feet (but not even a good foot photo). I got two 'creepy' baby faces. (This is what my mom called them ... and I fully agree that they look like a skull staring at you).

So, all this tl, dr: Where can I go to find a place (Even to pay) to get a couple good Ultrasound photos? How did you find a good/reputable place to use?

Thanks everyone. I just had to vent and this was the best place for it! Definitely takes an awful person to do something like that. We live in a very rural area on a little old backroad, it isn't like they couldn't stop and tell someone or move him because it was a highway.

i love our skeleton faced baby!! Haha. But we just went with google reviews and word of mouth.

I think I just felt a tiny little foot kick me twice. I have felt bubbles for a few weeks now but that was the first real kick.

I am also obsessed with Bratt nursery furniture. I had all but decided on IKEA, but after flipping through a mailing I think my son needs a metal crib. He might even need an oval one.

Not caught up but I wanted to update.

Brain looks perfect. We have to go back to look at the heart because he was curled up in a ball and didn't want to cooperate, but they say that from what they can see he looks good!

And cervical length is good and placenta is almost clear! It went from .6cm from the cervix to 1.6cm. He said I can go off of pelvic rest and lifting restrictions!

Thanks for all the thoughts ladies. I'm still nervous about the fact that they couldn't see the heart well, but I'm relieved that his brain looks good!

@katydid2014‌ - I hear you on the sheet issue. Family has offered to buy our nursery furniture - so I am nervously looking at buying the oval sheets ourself. 2 crib sheets cost as much as the IKEA crib. Not sure I can justify spending more $$$ on a crib sheet than I usually spend on king size sheets for our bed.

Thanks ladies. Sorry it took so long. They took forever (the computer died and they had to reboot and switch rooms between the tech and the doctor) and then we have a 45min drive home, mostly with no signal through the canyons. And then we had to pick up Owen from his friend'a house. No kids allowed at MFM.
