Baby ate a sock

I put socks on my baby's hands last night and this morning one was gone. Can't find it anywhere. I think she ate it. Should I take her to doctor? Will she poop it out?

When my dog ate a sock, we had to make him throw it up.  I'd try that first.

If you see any strings coming out of his bum you should pull. It might be stuck.

You can give them hydrogen peroxide to get them to throw up. I would try a little of that in the bottle.

OMG don't pull!! The vet said not to with my cat- I'm sure it's the same thing.

I pulled a ribbon out of my cat's butt one.

RIP.

Did it have little rubber grippy things on the bottom? Guaranteed to get stuck, but will also do a good cleaning of the digestive track when it does come out.

I had a dog that could pass socks and underwear with no problem. It was the dish towel that got stuck. So you should be good.

He still might need a surgical extraction. Just remember it only really counts if he poops it out.

We do what @tengallonhat‌ did when our dog ate a sock. I think it's pretty much the same, so go with that.

I tried that one time with my dog. I felt soooo bad. and then she threw it up but not the thing I wanted her to throw up. i also heard salt works....

My pedi recommended starting with socks. Only if they are 100% organic cotton though.

My dog dog also ate/pooped out a condom once. Had to help pull it out cause it was just hanging there. Foul.

I had a dog who ate razors, coins...even an entire pillow once. Put it in his kennel to sleep with and the entire pillow was gone the next day. The coin thing wasn't too bad. It was like getting a tip every time I scooped his poo.
