I've screwed up dinner.  I'm so distracted all of the time.  

I was trying to be a nice wife and waited to cook dinner so that my H might have a fresh hot meal for once, but now I'm just hangry and mad and not paying attention.

'Bout to leave work and go look at a new apartment and I REALLY REALLY hope it works out.... from the descriptions and the limited pictures it looks way better than where we are right now..but... will need to convince the spouse to not be a bah humbug about moving and having to pay a little more in rent..... oh and then there's the sucky part of actually moving, especially since I'll be largely pregnant but...it would be so worth it if the place looks as good as it sounds

Trying not to get my hopes up too much incase I get let down...

This is me with my MIL 90% of the time. You'd think she'd get the hint after almost six years of this.

They live next door. It's great when I need stuff like alcohol or chocolate. Not so great when she wants to tell me her life story.

@justAphase You can always just tell him exactly what you said here. You know that there isn't anything that you can say to make it better but you're there if he needs you. Simple and genuine always works.

Omg I told the ginger I'd call him today between. 5:30-6. I forgot until 7. So I called, he didn't answer. Then I texted him. Then I waited and called and left a VM because I felt bad and it was super awkward.

So now I seem like a flaky, crazy lady. This is going excellently.
