Temping question

DH and I are TTC again. I'm pretty sure we are out again this month. I have been watching my CM and tracking my fertility window.

I wanted to start temping as well, but I still get up every 2-3 hours with LO to BF.  Is temping an option? I thought consistent sleep was needed for accuate temp readings.  Anyone have any experience with this? TIA!

I have not been on FF yet. I will take a look at the tutorials. Thanks!

I was afraid that temping wouldn't work for me right now. Thanks for the info. I guess it's just going to take us a long time unfortunately.

  • I thought the OPKs weren't too reliable?  I will do some research.

    Thanks!

  • How long have you been trying?

FF is awesome. I don't use it anymore, but it was a part of my life for 6+ years.

We have been trying for about three months. I'm spoiled because I got pregnancy the first month we tried with LO.  It feels like it's taking longer because my cyles are every 5 weeks now (I'm guessing because of BFing). I will check out FF!!

  • 3 months is nothing.  Assuming it will take forever after 3 months is just silly.

  • I agree @pmarie33

I am simply frustrated because I am nearing 40 and feel time is essential.  Just trying to figure out ways to better understand my body to help our success. Temping was the only thing I could think of, but it sounds like FF is a great place to start.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone!

  • Also Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a good book.
