Good morning F15! I have a long day ahead of me after being awake half of the night. These potty breaks are getting obnoxious. Was wide awake from 3-5am and my alarm goes off at 5:45. Ugh.

Does anyone else follow the "Prayers for Shane" Facebook page? A page about a couple that carried out a bucket list while pregnant with their baby diagnosed with anencephaly. He was born this morning at 2am. I am so hoping for a miracle for them. My heart hurts thinking about what it would be like to say goodbye to my baby right after he was born =(

I was awake at that time too, first because of a full bladder and then apparently my mind is the anti sleep in the middle of the night. I finally snoozed for a bit, stretched when I woke up and got the most insane leg cramp I've ever had. Boy, our days are starting off right!

We should have all had a party. I was up from 2:30 to 4:30. I watched Gilmore Girls on Netflix.....

The lightning fried two of our cable boxes so I'm sitting at home this morning waiting for the cable guy, then to my parents' house at noon to wait for a repair guy there (they have moved to FL and are prepping their home to sell). Lovely day......

I watch What to Expect When You're Expecting last night. It was meh....

Good morning it's a bummer we can't sleep through the night before you know.. We don't get to once the babies are here.

I saw something about the bucket list family but I couldn't bring myself to read the articles I saw yesterday I probably will at some point.

My spamalama: i was pretty MIA on here after my a/s. FI and I just spent the night taking it all in... We ordered pizza (and cheesy bread!)..Every once in a while we'd just look at each other and go "it's a boy!" And crack up. I had no idea but everyone else thought girl so i think we both sort of started subconsciously picturing girl. But we are so so happy! I just can't get over our little dude. The weird thing: I keep hearing squirt from finding Nemo... And I think having a boy so totally rocks, dude! Can't wait to meet my little squirt!

Elliott Charles (Elliott-family name (dad's middle, uncles etc but meets my "heard of but uncommon" criteria and Charles for FI's dad who passed away).

@kefttsc‌ I watched it recently too, I found some of it even more entertaining now that I'm pregnant, like when she was speaking at that convention I died. But some of it is cheesy lol

@DronkeyGal‌ I just saw that on my fb feed last night. I can't even imagine. I can't remember which kind (cephaly) my mom's friend daughter had but it was heartbreaking. She lived to be 3.

I have to stay at work until Sunday. Today is me day. Going to check out PBK for bedding in my area then head to BRU to finish registry after their daughter goes to school

Sorry you ladies were up. The other night I was up for 2 1/2 hours. The past 2 nights, I took baths before bed and slept amazing!!! I'm actually awake and ready to start my day.

@erobbins09‌ congrats on the healthy boy!! Boys are a lot of fun! I love the name.

@DronkeyGal‌ I heard about that. I had a hard time reading it all though. It's too sad and I'm too emotional. I'm praying for them though.

I think today is my Friday. Tomorrow is parent/teacher conference so no need for me at school. I want to go to the balloon fiesta. Either way, I get a long weekend.

Hola. It's Thursday. Too bad Bailey's and hot chocolate is out for a breakfast drink this morning. I am quite positive it would make the day better.

Work is still a hell hole but at least I know H is ok with an exit if they pull any more bs (my guess is it will come next Thursday). It's just enough of a relief knowing where the breaking point lies it makes it at least bearable to walk into work everyday

@chickenonsunday so far there are two Elliott's here and I didn't take it as making fun it's probably the biggest "famous" pop culture reference for people our generation so it's good to hear what comes to mind.. It's a good name test!

I sound cold and heartless but the girlfriend dying thing is no big deal. This is the girlfriend of my mom's youngest brother. Again, going to sound heartless but my sisters and I have pretty much zero relationship this uncle. He is a strange bird.

My grandpa turned 89 this past April and is an ornary cuss. I expect him to come back from this current funk as saucy as ever.

Because H is getting up late the rest of the week, I gathered clothes and such to get ready in the morning in the 2nd bedroom so I wouldn't wake him up. However, I was doing all this AFTER falling asleep on the couch and then deciding it was time to go to real bed (at 9) so I was a little sleepy... thus, I managed to grab a white strapless bra to wear today. And my shirt is kinda tight around my bust, so you can see the outline of my slightly small strapless bra only covering up 1/2-2/3 of my breasts. Ugh. oops. Now I am wearing my cardigan to try and cover it up, but I am hot and really want to take it off.

@kristinMTBell and @sugahcookie Hurray for feeling movement! It's so reassuring when you can feel movement and know they are really in there and growing My baby seems to move the most right around 9 PM, I feel the strongest kicks at that point. It's also the time I felt him move for the VERY first time, so keep track and see if you feel movement again at the same time.

@foxslaw - I have been having anti-work-rage this week, too. Usually I feel better in the afternoon, so I blame tiredness and hormones.

My random (on the sleep theme): Lately I wake up in the weirdest positions. Last night I woke up laying almost sideways (ie- I was sleeping curved on my back, not straight up and down, luckily we have a king size bed), one arm under my head, other arm thrown out, one leg bent at the knee and to the side, the other leg straight up and down. And yet, I was comfortable. More comfortable than when I force myself to go to sleep on my side. Weird pregnancy stuff- I would never have been able to sleep like that before.

I agree the board is pretty slow lately.  I love the Elliotts! We picked a name too: Kenneth Louis.  I can't remember if I shared that or not, but we've finally started calling the baby Kenny and it's starting to feel more real.

GTKY: What do you do to pass the time when you have insomnia?  I've been watching Once Upon A Time on Netflix.

@sugahcookie01 That's what I've kind of been feeling off and on with Surprise.

As for me, today I'm taking Han to get a mirror fixed and need to pay the last bit for my birthing class.  I'm going to do a little picking up around the place since my MIL gets in on Saturday.  We leave in a week for a wedding in Victoria, so I'm making my shopping list.

Rugby with the kids went well yesterday.  Next week I think we'll get to the games, not just the drills because they're all keen.  7-10 year olds are probably some of the most fun to coach.

Also I agree- not many interesting topics lately on our BMB. I guess we should be thankful that we aren't full of dramz. 

I did almost post last night, but wasn't sure it would make me feel better. I was feeling very down and lonely/alone. It seemed to me that DH didn't get excited about baby stuff, didn't like talking about baby topics, and was not interested in touching me or my belly. We talked and he pointed out a couple things that made me feel like a needy pregnant lady. He pointed out that he's been coming to the prenatal classes (we've had 2, one on cloth diapering and one on baby soothing) and been engaged at them, he's gone over names and furniture with me, he's planned out the mural for the nursery and has planned to start at the end of Oct, etc. However, he agreed that he would try to be more physically affectionate so I felt more reassured that he was on board and interested with baby's growth. 

In the end I felt kind of bad because I made him defensive and I do know that he has been helping and prepping for baby in his own way. But sometimes I just wish he was more verbal and talked more with me about things. I also get jealous from all you ladies mentioning how excited your sig others are when they touch your stomach- my H generally does not react at all on the rare occasions he touches my stomach. Everyone is different, but it makes me worried he isn't happy about the baby. I love my H, but he's so hard to read sometimes.

@Maple403 I am sorry you are having all those issues with YH.  He sounds similar to mine.  I have to ask him to feel my belly and that upsets me.  I want him to feel consumed with it all on a daily basis like I am.  

I've come to realize that the things that I am worried about, excited about, stressed about, are not the same for him.  He is worried about money, worried about how to get things done, etc.  He's more concrete and less touchy feely.

Hopefully that is the same with YH and that a bit of communication will make him come around.

I feel like the other boards are sooooooo foreign to me.  Venturing on to March15 makes me feel scared and lost.  I peek at the NB board sometimes (it's not very active) but other than that I stay here in familiar territory! 

I've been feverishly tracking my rented Doppler for the past 3 days.  It's on a UPS truck that originated in Colorado, stopped 2 places in Kansas, then St. Louis, Nashville, and as of this morning it's in Atlanta!  Hopefully it's at home later today!
