I've been off work for a week and I've done nothing productive but sleep. I'm off for like 4 more days please someone make me clean my disgusting house. I soooo lazy. Also so constipated for first time this pregnancy... I have prune baby food but the thought of eating it makes me gagggg

With the HDBD, sorry my only contribution was a bikini pic.  It was our FB announcement and posted late in the day.  I also don't have a lot of flattering clothes at the moment, so I don't take many pictures (why my contributions there do not happen).

So had my A/S today. They can't tell me any results until the doctor reviews it and then she has to give me the results.

But things seemed to look good to me. I got to see his skull which was kind of creepy. I also go to see his arms and legs and fingers and toes. We are still team blue!

Went baby shopping afterwards. I was amazed BRU has a monsters inc lamp that is $50. I kept going once I saw the price. There so much stuff I could buy for $50 and a lamp isn't going to be one of them.

OMG! A reason I rarely get on Facebook.  Let's talk about a real baby shower don't for a sec.  

This girl I used to work with post on FB that she wants to have a shower (4th baby, all girls, BTW) but doesn't know because "people only want to come to eat the food and not bring gifts, or might not come at all.

Personally I don't care about multiple showers but this is the tackiest thing I have ever seen.  Why would you put something like this on FB in the first place!  I always thought saying people were being gift grabby was an overreaction, but is this how people really are IRL!

@ChickenOnSunday how in the heck to you keep up with the parenting board.  I went over to see if I could find some entertainment and there is a thread, I think its an OU, started this morning that is already 31 effing pages long.

I'm so excited! I have a tough time opening myself up and making friends, and since we moved here 8 years ago most of my friends are people who work with my husband, or their spouses. I put myself out there about a year ago and joined a play group but I don't really bong much with the moms. There has been one mom whose path crosses our path IRL pretty often, and we seem to gravitate toward each other when we are both at a play date. She invited me out to lunch next week! I'm making a REAL friend of my very own!

Update/Edit:  I don't really BOND, not bong.  I don't do that either, but that isn't where I was going with this post.  I left it as it was though, because I thought it was kind of funny.

I used to lurk a lot last year before I cycled. Those pages get so crazy high lol. Heck I have a hard time just keeping up here!! At least my other boards are not as fast

Haha, love it that way, too. So awesome you're going on a Mom date next week! I'm still working on actually making it to the local park playdate on Wednesdays.

Well, that's one way to make sure no one will want to either throw you a shower or show up if they get an invite. How rude/ungrateful/spoiled can you get?

I've hit my low again. Damn you, pregnancy moods. This week has been so hard, I've just been feeling really exhausted and down. Maybe I should order a pizza for dinner. I'm not above comfort eating.

@lizzybean‌ How's Ella napping today? One DD always seems to poop right when her sister has fallen asleep. Usually I can sneak her away and change her without waking the other one up, but today it didn't work. So one DD has had a 20-min nap while the other has had no nap. 5:30 bedtime tonight!

Oh no what awful timing for poop time!! That sucks for you How old are your girls?

As for us, not good @ckimberley14. She "rested" in her crib for only 20 minutes before screaming for me. I went in, gave her some books, and left again. 30 minutes of talking later, she was screaming for me again. So no nap today. She is super cranky now, which is not like her at all. We have to go pick DH up from work at 5:30 and I just know she is going to fall asleep in the car. UGH.
