We've been together for about 8.5 years, married for 5.5 years. We certainly took our time and enjoyed our marriage - maybe a little too much! We almost damn near never got around to having kids, we were enjoying our married life so much.

Married 1 year together 5 years....actually found out we were expecting the week b4 our one year wedding anniversary. Yea my mom said the same thing but now she is so happy to be a first time grandma
You all have beautiful stories... I just came back home after being with my "OH" because the winters where he lives are horrid. Our relationship probably would have fizzled out by now, but finding out why I've been so sick lately has us both resolute to make sure this baby is well cared for and never doubts our love for it. Although I have no clue where he and I will be in the future, I'm certain we'll both do everything we can to be good parents.
We have been together for 10 years and married 6 weeks!lol!we have 2 children together and number 3 on the way, talk about doing things backwards!haha!
Been married for almost 5 months! I just turned 20 and I'm still going to school for my degree! Not a lot of people agree with our choices but we planned and want this baby more than anything!!!
I kind of worried about that after we found out I was pregnant I was like oh crap do we want this. But it just happened so fast. We have been together for six and married for two months. It's not up to everyone else either:)
Ha! I was married 8/29 and conceived 9/5! We have been together seven years and have never been happier. There is no right or wrong way.... It's whatever works for you and your partner : )
We've been together for 6 years, married for 4 months. Nobody knows that we're expecting yet aside from my best friend and mom, but whenever we run into friends we get the "so when are you going to have a baby" question so I don't expect any negative reactions about our timing. People have honeymoon babies all the time.
We've been together for almost 7 years, married for just over 2 years. My husband's fam will say, "It's about time." instead of congratulations when they find out we are expecting. His whole family all married at 20-22 and a kid within the year (sometimes before the wedding bells) so the fact that we were together for 4 1/2 years before we got married, we've been married for 2 years and don't have kids, AND he's 35 and I'm 31....we are old first time parents. Whatever. We did it on our own terms and we are pretty happy. That's all the matters. :-)
3 years together. Married for almost 2 months. We conceived a week before our wedding and found out when we got back from our honeymoon. Honestly no one we've told has been surprised. DH had made it very clear he was excited to start a family and our parents are ecstatic about an early pregnancy (our kids will be the only grandchildren for both of them seeing as how we are both only children and both of our moms struggled with concieving/pregnancy so there was a lot of worry there).

But honestly, it doesn't matter what they say. DH and I are very happy and planned this pregnancy. I don't care who's not on board with it.
