I so didn't want to go to work today. Just wasn't feeling it.
Everyone keeps saying once I quit I'll be bored being a SAHM. I don't see how I'll be busy all the time with a newborn, a 7 yr old, a house, and an idiot husband whose like another child. Pretty sure i won't be bored all that much considering people in my house can't be bothered to even get their own towels before taking a shower.
I wish it would just hurry up and by Thursday already. Thats when my A/S is.
Idk whats wrong with me. I just want to be mean to Dh for hacing to go to the oral surgeon today
When we went when he had his wisdom tooth out he kept flirting with this brunette hygenist everytime she spoke to him. everytime she talked he giggled.
dh doesnt ever act the way he dis that day. And then he didnt want me to go with him today. which would be fine but he always wants me at his appointments an not just in the waitingroom but in the back with him.
she was brunette, super skinny, and young
Do you think you might be going through the baby blues? I couldn't help but notice that you don't usually refer to your husband in a positive light - especially today. And I don't know if it's because you're just venting on the forums (which I totally get) but we don't usually get that many happy updates.
@Cookie0875, I just want you to know, by the end of the month I'm going to think you're just casually walking about the house in your Wonder Woman costume w your cooch hanging out...
@erobbins09 that is a tough situation. Professors are not known for their social skills or tact. Id give him the benefit of the doubt that he meant well and was not trying to insinuate anything negative on your behalf. Like you said, it would be good to have an understanding prof if you start needing more time due to any sort of complication. I agree with PPs that suggest you basically say thank you and that you will let him know if anything comes up.
@jennjilljoite - I hope the conversation with DH goes well tonight. I have been trying to think of a way to have a similar conversation with my DH. His gain isn't too bad, but the bowls of ice cream and sweet sangria wine are not good for his health. I tried tickling him this weekend and he said something about me squeezing his fat, so I think I may address it that way.
@erobbins09 - I agree with @jennjilljoite I think he was out of line, but you may need to take him up on that offer. My female boss and I were laughing about how awkward men in the workplace get around pregnant women. Maybe he's just really awkward about it too.
I've been such a slacker today but I'm trying to determine if I have a cold or the flu. Sudden onset of body aches, a rising temperature, headache, cough (since last night) and congestion. I've already texted my daddy (he's a nurse and always has his baby girl's back). Hoping it's a cold but relief just won't come, work was such a struggle today! Great first day back to work right?!

@musicgirl524 dad says just a cold, so we'll see. I just started with the chills as soon as I got out of bed, if not feeling better in the am... To the doctor I go!

I am so sorry: I remember you posting about the mega-couch right when I started participating on F15 -- while I absolutely agree that it's terribly unsafe and ridiculous -- seeing it in this photo made me laugh for a full minute. It was more of a laugh-cry though, I promise!
Any progress on getting it nixed before the baby comes?
Edited to add the picture in question.

Sometimes I hate how complicated my health insurance is, but not today! Today, I got noticed that it covered my ER visit in August at 100%! That's right, the 1600 dollar bill was covered completely, no copay, nothing. I specifically chose this insurance because it covers 100% of maternity expenses, so I'm glad it is paying off!!!! Also, I wasn't sure that an ER visit would be billed as maternity, but it was. Thank god.
Today, I accidentally over exerted myself to the point of vomiting, giving myself a sinus headache from having vomit shoot through my nose. Now I'm exhausted, nauseated, and have a killer headache.
@crabigator@musicgirl524 haha. Actually, dBF's brother announced yesterday that he is moving out soon so I don't know where that leaves us with the couch. I think DBF & I had a Super Bowl compromise at the latest, but DBF couldn't care less about football & J was the one who wanted to have the super bowl party at our house.
This is the closest I have found. Thank you. The price makes me say yikes because I need 4 or 5 but they are super cute. Will show my boss on wednesday to make sure they are work appropriate.
I finally found some long sleeved polos for $17 on lilo maternity but every time I select a size it only gives me xs as an option. This is really driving me crazy 8-}
Just found a thrift shop like 1 mile form2my house that has gently used great condition recliner for less than $60! Totally getting one next payday!

@foxslaw That's good news, right? That he's moving out? If so, then hooray! At the very least, it's much easier to convince one person to make decisions that are in the best interest of your coming child when there's not a third person in the mix too...

So DH and I are arguing tonight (lame argument IMO) and lightning struck around our house TWICE today so we have no cable or internet. We have to just stare at each other.

On a related note...I'm kinda pissed at DH...I'm home super sick, every part of my body hurts and he goes out to dinner with his colleagues tonight at 7 PM. I wanted him to bring me something back to eat because I didn't feel well enough to cook/cough over dinner. He just texted me saying they just got their food and he'll be home later than he thought. It's already past my bed time, and now I have to go to bed with an empty stomach...what was he thinking?! He was sick last week and I stayed right there while he bitched and moaned...grrr. Men...

The baby just kicked hard enough to be visible from the outside! First time ever!
I rushed downstairs to tell DH. His response: "that's creepy"
That was it. I know everyone responds differently, but sometimes I wish he'd show a little more enthusiasm. This is our first baby, after all. He rarely puts his hand on my tummy. He does seem excited about the mural he's going to paint in the baby's room, but I wish he was more outwardly affectionate.
@kefttsc I'm glad you guys are safe. We had lightening strike near us a few weeks ago and lost our cable and internet, too. Hopefully your fight ends and it doesn't take *too* long for your service to be restored. AT&T was able to come out at the very end of the next evening to replace my fried modem, but my neighbors with Comcast had to wait four days.
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
DH felt the baby kick for the first time last night. His immediate comment: "It's a boy and he's a lefty." Ha. We'll find out about the boy part (or lack thereof) tomorrow... it's like going to sleep on Christmas eve!

@jennjilljoite I haven't read to the end, so someone else may have said this, but do you think your husband might consider seeing a counselor? My DH used to be very active and ate a lot to fuel it, but now has slowed down but eating habits/amounts haven't. I think that's a really tough adjustment. Anyway, there may be a chance that some conversation with a professional and a change of perspective might help-- just a thought!
@PeaceofKia and @CatLadyTX thanks. I pulled put To Kill A Mockingbird and we watched a DVD! Turns out, DH realized he hadn't seen it since elementary school and quite enjoyed it. Good thing, since our girl is Harper after Harper Lee! Lol
