R woke up waaaay too early today and his nap didn't coincide when O wanted to sleep, so I'm exhausted.
R has also asked me at least eight million times to build him a plane out of blocks, then tells me it is either too small or too big, but refuses to show me what kind of plane he wants. Yay toddler stubbornness. I'm ready for his bed time.
I bought a new black lager that has a chocolatey finish. I'm excited.
Not drinking. But wish I was. I am normally a very chill, laid back person, but DS has really amped up the "terrible" in his 2s this week & my nerves are about shot from it. I know that this, too, shall pass, but I would really like to enjoy my last two weeks of leave with him & hes making it next to impossible.
I actually & litteraly told him to act right tonight.
Good luck tomorrow @bunkinmama. I hope you ace it. Did you still want that pumpkin cookie recipe? I have my recipe album out and will type it out if you're still interested.
I'm still pissed about an encounter I had at Walmart though. I had DS with me and bought the HPT through the self-checkout line. This older lady in line behind me said, "you look a little too young to have two kids!"
Ok? Fuck off.
@bunkinmama I just use a can of solid pack pumpkin. Don't shame me. I think it's 15 oz if you're using fresh.
chocolate chip pumpkin cookies
4 c flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp baking soda 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp ginger 1 tsp cloves 1 c oil, vegetable or canola 2 c sugar 2 eggs 1 can solid pack pumpkin chocolate chips- I just eyeball the amount
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and spices in a separate bowl. Beat oil and sugar. Mix in eggs. Mix in pumpkin. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 12-15 mins.
I'm still up, but not sure for how long. I took pain pills and am a bit zoned out. I should have some amazing nightmares tonight. Sometimes I'm bummed when I wake up and realize my life isn't actually amazing and scary.
