A bottle of passion fruit rum fell in my cart so I am. Work has been crazy all week and I feel it's just the beginning, but I got a 45/50 on my exam and feel slightly better about school

Glass of merlot in front of me as I nurse the baby to sleep. If I can stay awake long enough I'll have another after I put her down. But I usually go to bed at 9 because I'm an early morning riser. Someone needs to tell my body that 6 is not sleeping in.

The last couple of weeks have kicked my ass. I was sick for a week, then DH got sick. The cat needed a $212 vet visit to confirm that's he's just old as balls.

I'm trying to get DD to go out tonight, but she doesn't want to leave me alone since DH couldn't make it home this weekend. Plus she said her friends are annoying her. this week They are going to a haunted house and a scary movie. I don't think she's mine. My teen self would have never passed up that opportunity.

We made a cute Halloween craft after school today. It's similar to this picture except I made a reusable house out of sturdy craft foam board. Each year I give the kids blank paper to draw spookies to tape behind the windows and door. Thought I'd pass it along.

@brighteyes112 Fill a bucket, bowl, pot or sink with cold water, a bunch of ice and handfuls of salt. Put the drinks in and wait a few minutes. No need for the fridge or paper towels.
