I am glad they are staggering the sentences (if Theresa serves time). At least the kids are spared being totally separated.

She knew. I think she is smarter than she let's on. She plays dumb.

I think it is quite likely that he could get deported.

I am glad they will stagger their sentences for the sake if the girls, I feel bad for them. Especially Gia- she is smart and very aware. Being a tween/teen is so hard as it is, but to then be in the public eye AND deal with this must be extremely difficult.

I will be very interested to see how they handle the deportation proceedings. Deportation for criminal conduct is a super hot button issue here and under most circumstances I would think some of the foreign nationals I see would be out of here in a hot minute for the same thing.

He's claimed he didn't know he wasn't a citizen, came here as a baby. How did he not know that he wasn't a citizen?  I mean doesn't that come up when you have to produce a birth certificate to get a job or a passport or whatever?

What?  They went to Italy on the show.  He had to have some kind of passport.  Right?

I'm Canadian, so I'm not sure now this works, but is there a chance she won't serve that much time due to overcrowding? I just remember hearing that about Paris Hilton and whatnot. I'm not a fan of her either way - I'm just curious.

  Apparently not, because it's federal court. The judge specifically said there would be no early probation for Joe.


Totally different. Paris Hilton was in county jail. Every penal institution offers credits for good behavior, but prisons don't book and release. You can be in county jail awaiting the outcome of your case, hence overcrowding, but prison is for sentenced people only.
