In early labor will be heading in to L & D Update 2

Been having contractions 5 to 7 minutes apart for well over 2 hours. Went to my 39 week appointment this morning and am 3 to 4 cm and completely thinned out. MW said it's definitely early labor and to come in when I felt like I couldn't handle it at home. She said I could technically head in now but as a FTM she thought it would be a good idea to get something to eat before settling in for the long haul.

I don't have a labor buddy so I will try to keep you all updated.

Update 1:

Headed in to the hospitol. They will monitor for a little while.

Update 2:

Got my epidural and am just about 9 cm. My nurse doesn't think it will be much longer before it's time to push. I'm trying to get some rest in in anticipation of pushing. So excited to meet our little girl!
We are so excited to grow our family!
