We're thinking Conlan Jacob for one of these boys. Jacob is for DHs grandfather. This was our boy name for number 1 but I'm not sure I'm in love with it. It seems kind if a mouthful to enunciate both syllables. Also the LN starts with don. Thoughts on the name Conlan? I have also considered Conall but DH doesn't like it.

Re: Conlan?
I'm not sure how I feel about this... perhaps pp's suggestion of Conrad, Connor
maybe Colton, Conan?

To me, it sounds like a last name. I always think it's very strange to give your kid a last name as a first name, unless that last name has some sort of special connection (like your maiden name). Even then I think the middle name spot is a better place for that.
Collin, Connor, Conrad are better.
Conlan makes me sound like I'm gurgling water.
