Has this already been discussed? I'm back at work today and back to stalking TB. Dies anyone have an awesome costumes for their toddlers/babies? I'm wanting a cute onesie for DD but having no luck.
most likely doing Batman for DS1 and Robin for DS2. If I knew how to sew I would make a Nacho Libre costume for DS2 since he's so chunky and Eskeleto for DS1 since he's a string bean
I was thinking maybe hocus Pocus me, DW and DD could be the witches. DS1 could be that old zombie guy (I forget his name), DS3 could be thackary binx as a cat and I'm not sure what DS2 could be.
I'm stumped! This is the first year I can't figure out a great family costume.
DS1 is being Daniel Tiger and DS2 is being his Tigey. If I'm feeling inspired I'll make a decent Tigey costume for the baby, but since I'm lazy, I found a blue striped sleeper with a picture of a tiger head on it that can suffice since more than likely he won't leave the house or if he does he'll just be bundled in the stroller while we trick-or-treat a few houses.
I thought about that ) I just pictured my little marshmallow walking around with his big old puffy cheeks squished inside his costume and a big old stick coming from his head lmao now to look for a broom costume.

I debated getting DD a costume but then spent $$$ getting Olaf costumes for the boys. Plus she'll be stuck in the car seat so nothing will really look cute under the straps. MIL gave us this Halloween coat thingy so I'll probably put DD in that and call it a day.
I don't think DS will has a costume this year. I found some cute onesies at Old Navy. He'll probably just wear one of those.
For DD, I found a super cute costume dress on Snuggleluv.com, that was black, purple, and green, with some feathering. I just can't justify spending $26 right now. She'll probably go as a cat. She'll be cute as that too.
My 3 yo is going to be Anna or Elsa, so baby is going to be Olaf. I just found a cute fleece Olaf hat on Etsy and she already has a white fleece coat (although she is growing out of it already) and I'll just put some buttons on that, some white pants and call it good!
That's a really cute idea (even more so for Max because either I or DW would be holding him the whole time) but finding that is gonna be tricky! I may have to make it if it came down to that.
We are going to be a family of superheroes. Hubby is leaning towards the Hulk, I am going to be Wonder Woman, ds1 is going to be Spider-Man and ds2 is going to be superman.
BRU was running costumes on sale in July before LO was born, so I bought a 6 month size Tigger costume. I said if he couldn't fit in it at Halloween he'd wear it at Christmas or Valentine's! Now I'm afraid he'll be too big for it at Halloween, eek!
Check out Pottery Barn Kids. I got DD the bunny costume. And they're not as expensive as you might think coming from Pottery Barn. But they're really great quality.
I'm getting a beige onsie and turning it into her Hawaiian luau outfit! I ordered a stitch hoodie to wear from Hot Topic but they just e-mailed me to tell me it's discontinued! DH was going to wear a Stitch t-shirt. I'll have to figure out what I'm going to wear now.
DS is going as Spiderman so I picked these up for the girls on Amazon, they're sleepers so they can acually wear them more than just as costumes. They have capes that attach with velcro lol, I'll probably add a hat or headband to accessorize.
@AnotherDreamer mind sharing a link? Older DS is going superhero route and I was looking for a sleeper for baby. TIA!
Normally I go all out on costume events but really cannot be bothered. I may put her in pink and white and say she's a Flump if anyone asks (not sure Flumps exist in this country, it's a kind of marshmallow).
DD1 is either Matilda or Boo from Monsters Inc because I cut her hair like Matilda without realising it til someone pointed it out and she looks like Boo in pigtails.
DD is going to be a princess! I have a Cinderella onesie that one of my friends got her.

We are trying to convince the kids to be Popeye and Olive Oyl, it works since DD is taller than DS and then have the baby as Sweet Pea. It would be so cute. DD really wants to be Elsa though and DS said he would be Olaf so that would still be cute and DH and I could dress as Popeye and Olive Oyl. I'm terrible at posting pics so I apologize.
DD is going as a cowgirl. She has boots already (born and bred Texan!) and a onesie with a cowboy print on it. My mom is making a bandana floofy skirt to girly it up some!
I asked DS1 what he wanted to be for Halloween and he said "Daddy". Once I was done dying from the cuteness I ordered him a little hardhat so he can dress up like daddy on a job site. DS2 is going to be in an Ergo or sling, so I'm not bothering.
My DS is going to be the old man from up and I'm think of making the baby his wife.
My grandpa actually looks exactly like him. We found random pictures online some kid took of my grandpa at my cousins college graduation, and the caption was Oh My God we met the guy from Up! It was pretty hysterical.
My grandma passed away in January and Grandpas kind of doing his bucket list right now. I cant watch the beginning of Up! Anymore. Too close to home.
LO will be Sulley. Everything he owns is Monsters Inc so when BRU had a Sulley costume we figured may as well!
@LenaLove the Harry Potter costume is the cutest idea ever!!

I asked DS1 (2.5 years old) what he wants to be & he said "owl robot." After a month of trying to get him to pick one or the other he is still insisting on being an owl robot. Here is the costume so far. I'm making a hedgehog robot hat for DS2, I will be a foxbot, & DH a bearbot.
DD is going as a stuffed chicken (my pick) and as R2D2 (my husband's pick). I finished her R2D2 costume today:
My 8 year old autistic nephew wouldn't give this baby up! He's obsessed with R2D2. (He is noise sensitive, so is always asking when Baby Hannah is going home when we are together. We give him a time like "we are leaving at 6" so he has a time frame. Come 6 pm, or whatever time, he will basically escort us to the door, "Time for Baby Hannah to go home.")
DD's bottom layer will be Minnie Mouse, since we were given a Minnie costume. Her outer layer will be a guide dog in training, as a friend knit her a blanket/sack that is a dog with the green service dog vest on. It's too cute!
Everyone needs an inside and an outside costume, right?
