I'm 2dpiui. Feeling optimistic but not too much so. Relaxed the whole weekend. I'm not sure if it matters but it was nice. Finished binge watching Nurse Jackie and now I'm sad its over. I gotta figured out something to do so I don't get the 2WW crazies.

I don't have any tattoos. I would get one if I could think of something that I would like for the rest of my life. My husband has quite a few though. He's got sleeves. Sometimes people stare and it takes me a minute to figure out why. I just kinda forget they're there.

My E2, FSH and AMH all came back good. I had a second ultrasound today (First one was on Friday) 1 of 4 follicles matured enough and is at 22mm. So got trigger and DH and I will go tomorrow for IUI #1

I don't have any tattoos.

I'm just chillin until January so no news to report.  I'm not tempting or using OPKs this month so DH and I will just BD every-other-day-ish and hope for a surprise!  Kinda nice to not have to worry about ultrasounds, specimens, meds, bloodwork, shots and procedures for a bit!

QOTW:  No tattoos here but if I got one it would DEFINITELY be a fleur de lis.  I have them on everything I own.  Seriously.  MH even has one tattooed over his heart.  My love for NOLA runs deep!

Test day is in 2 days! I'm not feeling hopeful this time around, I've POAS a couple times and they have both been negative, so while it's still technically possible that this cycle could have worked, I just really feel like it didn't. But I'm keeping my chin up and just really looking forward to taking a month off. With the busy season at work quickly approaching, going back to school, and some family members health problems, I'm just really overwhelmed and need to check out for a bit.

I got one tattoo in Vegas when I was 19 of a sun and moon. I still love it and want more but I can never decide what or where!

I am on CDay17, waiting for more/better follie growth after Femara/Letrozole in prep for IUI#6.

I had a monitoring appointment yesterday, and the largest follie was at 13mm, so my next appointment is on Thursday.  Hopefully I will be ready to trigger then.

QOTW: I have no tattoos, but for a long time I really wanted one.  I just couldn't commit to exactly what design I wanted, so I figured that it was best to skip it.

Nothing new here.. Still in 2ww. Test day is 10/3.

QOTW: I have 3 tattoos. I got one on my lower back when I turned 18 (haha a virgin with a tramp stamp). I don't regret it, because I can't really see it. Then some doves on my shoulder for my dad and sister who have passed, and a star on my foot. Like PP's said I've been wanting to get more, but I have a hard time committing to a design.. And I also can't get myself to spend the money on them.

Hello All! I hope everyone is doing well.

I am 8dpiui and I am starting to feel the anxiety of the 2ww. I keep telling myself it is completely ridiculous to test now for two reasons: 1) It is way too early and 2) I would likely detect my trigger shot and get a false positive. I will likely not test until this weekend. My beta is not until Oct. 7th.

QOTW: I do have a tattoo on my back in the center but about 6 or 7 inches below my neck. The design is a Celtic seahorse that looks similar to this:

10dpiui and have been surprisingly calm during this 2ww. I didn't go into this cycle with a good feeling and I'm pretty sure it's a bust, but I'm trying to stay hopeful. My boobs are killing me (it hurts just to walk up stairs) but I think that's a side effect of the prometrium. I remember having tenderness last time I took it.

I have a tinkerbell tattoo on my right shoulder. It needs touched up and I've been thinking of adding a little scenery around it, like maybe add a flower she's resting on. I also have a butterfly on my left side. I really like the placement of it, but not the tattoo. It was an impulse I regret!

I'm 6dpiui. I have no symptoms or side effects even though I'm on prometrium. I guess that's a good thing? So I'm just waiting for time to pass so I can test. I'm trying to stay hopeful but I can't really even imagine actually getting a BFP.

I don't have any tattoos - I have too much commitment phobia to get something so permanent!

Going in tomorrow for another ultrasound and hopefully scheduling trigger shot. Starting to feel like we're experts at this IF treatment thing and it's not such a big deal to us. Still isn't too fun BDing after an especially thorough vag cam appointment Sunday. It is frustrating to deal with missing work here and there because it makes me look so unprofessional. That's probably the biggest reason why I feel impatient for it to work this time around and not a few months later!

QOTW: Had the same idea for a tattoo for years and years...finally got it a couple years after we were married. It's my Chinese name but the characters are filled in with color to create an American flag. On my lower back - not to be trampy, but just so it stays for me only! DH wasn't a big fan but he's gotten used to it.

Last night was day 3 of my follistim injections.  I'm still not used to getting a shot every night.  I go in tomorrow morning for my first monitoring ultrasound.  As of right now, not sure when the trigger and IUI will be.  

I have one tattoo on my left foot...it's a black heart and there used to be a pink heart inside of it.  I passed out after getting it lol the tattoo artist said "i've had people pass out before and during, but never after...this is a first" lol I was 19 and then I went tailgating after and I didn't tell my boyfriend at the time.  I still really like the tattoo but I will never get it filled in or another one.  I tried to get over my fear of needles and it didn't work lol

Heyyy ladies. @rainbowbridge14 I think I said this last week but we are on the same schedule! My beta is 10/8 too.. FX for both of us!

I'm 6dpiui and nothing to report. I had some annoying cramping the last 2 days but so far none today. I go to my acupuncture appointment in about an hour, so hopefully he can throw some needles in to help with that. 

QOTW: I have a cross with shamrocks around it on my lower back (shout outs to all my tramp stamp girls). I wanted it in a place I wouldn't be able to see it all the time, and where I could hide it from my parents (I was 18). It has meaning to me because I got it the year my Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. I don't necessarily regret it, but if I had to do it again I would get it on my foot or something.

Hi everyone I have been MIA due to work and school, but have reading up on everyone. I just finished my first IUI cycle; which was successful but I am cautiously optimistic since I have miscarried before. My test date was today but started testing since 11 dpo and just had my first beta yesterday; which was 116 I will go in tomorrow for another one. I asked nurse for my progesterone number and said she didn't have it since it probably and then what their machine would read. I am scared that its not a good thing.

I have no tattoos but will love to get one someday just not sure of what yet.

@angelina2404 Lol, YH has this down to a science! MH seems to have trouble sticking to the schedule when it comes to that so the first time we arrived late and the second time early...hopefully by now he knows how it goes.

I am on CD 9 of my first clomid/IUI cycle. Finished the meds on day 7 and the hot flashes seem to be improving. I go in for my first monitoring ultrasound on Friday.

I have one tattoo on my foot. It is a feather.

Well I'm on an indefinite break unless DH's next SA looks better we are hanging up our IUI hats. Urologist has him on some vitamins so we will see if there's some improvement, if not we are hopefully moving on to IVF.

Tattoos: I have one on my lower back it is the chinese symbol for love and underneath it the scorpio symbol. I got it waaay back in college while on spring break in Branson MO. Those were the days....

It's cd1 for me as we begin iui#2. I wasn't expecting af for a few more days as I didn't experience a lot of pms like normal. I did have one day of severe bloating which wasn't normal. Dh was extremely bummed about bfn. I'm so used to it anymore. I don't usually include him when I would poas. Doing this whole IUI kinda takes the possibility of a "surprise I'm pg" out of our lives. Hoping now that this is our second time around we know a little bit more of whats expected.

No tattoos here. I'd love to get one but I'm terrified that id later regret getting one and later have to laser it off. Haha

I have Kokapelli (Native American Trickster/God of Fertility) on my left hip.  I got the tattoo because I used to visit my aunt and uncle in Arizona, and pick up a Kokapelli trinket from the airport each time.  My aunt died when I was 18 and I got the tattoo to remember her.  At the time I didn’t know the fertility connection.  Now it is kind of ironic and saddening because most of my issues are on the left side…

Currently on my 10^th day of Gonal F.  I have another ultrasound on Thursday, but it is looking like trigger shot will be that night with the IUI Sat morning.

I have a little paw on the back of my neck.  I have long hair that I almost always wear down, so I usually forget it's there. I love tattoos on other people, but I am so indecisive that is all I've ever been able to get more.  My two best friends are covered in gorgeous tattoos and I love all of them - I wish I had gotten more when I was younger but I kind of feel like that ship has sailed : )

I took my last femara yesterday.  I had REALLY heavy bleeding on it, I'm wondering if it was just a coincidence or if that will happen every cycle?  Either way, it has stopped now so I'm happy.  I go in on Friday for an ultrasound/bloodwork, possibly triggering Friday with an IUI Saturday.  I'm kind of hoping we have to wait a couple days, I am working 7pm-730am Friday through Sunday so the timing isn't great in that respect but I'll do what I have to!  If I trigger on Friday, I'm considering skipping out on work for at least one of the days.  My RE gave me a talk about how ovulation usually occurs between midnight and 4am and ovaries have melatonin receptors and how working overnights might be contributing to my irregular ovulation, so even with the trigger I'm a little afraid I'll mess things up with my backwards schedule this weekend.  It seems like realistically it won't make much of a difference but this is my first treatment cycle and I'm being paranoid about everything!

I am way late to the game here....

Today was trigger shot day. Tomorrow we have IUI #2 at 10am. When I went in for my last ultrasound on Monday, she said "Oh wow, you sure have been active.... you have only been taking one Clomid pill a day for 5 days, right???" Then she gave me a prescription for Estrace which I didnt have to do last month. Its a tiny pill that she instructed me to use vaginally since it would be more effective than taken orally. Interesting.

I have been under an insane amount of stress the past few months, and it really came to a boiling point last week. I have issues with anxiety so I am hoping that won't affect me in a negative way as it relates to TTGP. Although if this cycle is a bust, I think its a conversation that we will need to have with the RE before moving right into IVF.

QOTW: I do not have any tattoos. I am scared to death of needles.

Welp, I'm officially out this month.  We have an appt. next week to discuss moving to IVF, but are taking at least one month off treatment.  I guess this means I'm leaving this check-in already

so late this week! I have been out of town.  But today was supposed to be test day.  Started spotting on Monday and full on AF yesterday =( We are going to take a break until after the first of the year.  I just don't want to be going through all of this during the holidays.  So, gonna get healthy and try to lose some weight and start back in January or February! 

QOTW: I have 2. one is a heart on my tata (the first tattoo I ever got and I hate it! Im gonna have it removed one day) and then I have the Chinese symbol for Loyalty on my neck.  DH and I have the same one  

Whenever we finally have a baby I want to get the infertility symbol that connects to our baby's first heartbeat on my wrist!

Emma- so sorry to hear about AF. That really sucks. I don't blame you for taking a break over the holidays though. That's my plan too if need be.

So we are officially in the tww again. We had back to back iuis today and yesterday. Everything looks good, but then again, everything looked good for the last two cycles as well. My estradiol level is a lot higher than last time and the nurse said this was a "good cycle" so we'll see. My husband also had good numbers again so I'm being cautiously hopeful. : )

I have 5 tattoos. I have tiny hearts, an arrow, a tiny paw print, the words let it be, and the words time in a bottle (a song that played at my dad's funeral). They all have meaning to me in some way and I'd love more. I'm thinking of a dogwood flower next, but not any time soon bc I definitely can't afford it without all this fertility stuff.

CD 5 here!  CD3 appt went well.  So our last IUI cycle has begun. 

QOTW:  I don't have any tatoos.  I'm to chicken to go through with it.  But if I were to get one, I'd want to have a Purple ribbon tattooed around my ankle extending onto my foot.  with angel wings above it.  I'm involved a lot with Relay For Life, so it being on my ankle represents walking for a cure, the purple ribbon represents the fight against all cancers and the angel wings represents my reason for fighting (My Mom)

I hope that you had better luck than I did!  My follies shrank and my estradiol dropped.  I'm on another round of Letrozole starting tonight.  Weird, b/c I responded fairly predictably in previous Letrozole cycles.

So, I'm currently 7 dpiui. It's making me crazy. I've been crampy pretty much the whole time since IUI but more "twinge-like". I didn't have any cramps my last two rounds, but I also switched meds this round (clomid this time). I'm hoping cramps are a good sign?? Also, more CM than usual.
Anyhow, hope everyone is doing well, wherever you may be in your journey!

P.s...no tattoos for me

I just wanted to say I also took estrace vaginally this cycle to thicken my lining. It did work so that's a positive (no pun intended).

Just as I suspected... BFN... gearing up for IUI #5 (#3 with medication... 50 mg clomid)

Going to add one extra day of no bedroom time before Ovidrill shot next week, to hopefully increase counts (post wash 6 million last month).  The last natural IUI cycle before I started taking meds he had his highest count ever when we had a full 3 day window (post wash 30 million)... The nurse said it couldn't hurt to try! Has anyone else done this?

 

QOTW: I'm not sure if I could ever get a tattoo.. I Love them (DH has 3) but I just think these days I'm more unique NOT having one

@sweetball33 - we abstain various days/hours to get a good post wash number.  We've tried the 3 days and my husbands post wash numbers were 30 million + but we felt like we were losing a possible ovulation window.  We just did 24 hours this last time and his post wash numbers were only 5 million.  Not sure if it's because of him getting wasted on his birthday celebration 2 days before the IUI or not abstaining as long or what.  he was freaking out but my DR said he is still very happy with 5 million post wash.

@lisa89760 That's EXACTLY what's going through my head... I'm concerned I'm going to miss the window, but I also feel like it has to be more beneficial for us to try have a higher count at IUI, because a) timing is hopefully pinpointed and b) it clearly hasn't worked for 2 years of having sex with low count religiously during the window!   That being said, I know it's very possible to get BFP with a low count...UGH
