@Codypup, I have a big, fluffy robe that I wear in the winter. I actually just got a new lighter-weight short robe from Target. It's this one:

I love it because it has extra long sleeves and a hood, so it feels like wearing a cozy hoodie, but it's not as heavy as a hoodie. They still have them at my Target

We had a great time at the race this morning. We ran almost the whole thing - my mom has a bad knee and can't do the hills anymore. I also got this totally awesome picture of me and a stormtrooper

LO naps SO GOOD for DH. We're talking three hours. Why won't he act right and do that for me?

Answer: because I'm so awesome duh. He just can't stand not hanging with me. It's ok LO. Nothing exciting happens when you nap!

My bf's is still out fishing like it's his job. I wish I could take my hobbies so seriously. 

 @rachaelmary‌ no, we didn't go to the baby show We decided we've spent enough money lately, so went fishing up the Chilliwack. But somehow bf needed new stuff, which cost $600!!!!!! I could have bought all the baby things for much less

I just remembered that A) there's a Skor bar hidden in my purse from grocery shopping the other day and There are milk duds hidden in the baking cupboard! I've earned my F14 Badge today!!

No sooner did I finish cleaning up the aftermath of lo's dinner (fed by DH while I scrubbed the toilet) did I discover DH changed a blowout and left poopy diapers, wipes, onesie, and 2 changing pad covers in the nursery. I tried to count to 10. But oh.my.god. When I'm home with LO, I have to clean up as I go, including big messes. I don't have someone following me around wiping down the kitchen and scrubbing poop stains. I'm trying not to be irritated, but oh.my.god.

 @Shellbell3845, that would piss me off, too! It is definitely not okay for him to leave a mess behind him for you to clean up!

And thanks guys. I know that DH has a very hard time multi-tasking when it comes to LO, but LO is also old enough that he can sit on the nursery floor while a mess is handled. He can go in his jumperoo. Or I could have played with him. I honestly think if I mentioned having to clean up after DH, he would be oblivious to the fact that I have to do that. On the nights I work, I always, always, always have to clean up from LO's dinner. I'm willing to bet DH has no clue, even though I've gone over that leftover food goes in the fridge, bib is wiped/rinsed, high chair tray is wiped down, bowl soaks in sink. I don't know if he gets overwhelmed or just doesn't get that it has to be cleaned up. It doesn't make me less upset to have to do it and it doesn't make it okay, but it's just one of those things. Just like we know [some] DHs can't do chores while they do childcare.

My FIL is driving us home from Disney and OMG he is the worst old man driver ever. Hanging in the left Lane and making everyone pass him on the right, leaving his blinker on forever, drifting lanes...I'm silently losing my mind.

This! The same thing had been bugging me for the last few days, and I didn't have words for it. It's been bothering me that I have to ask FH to watch LO if I need to go do something/ get something done, yet it's just a given that unless specified otherwise that I'm "on baby duty", or that DD is my responsibility. In our case it may have something to do with me being SAH right now, but it still doesn't seem right. /end loosely related ramble

@sakura0019 I couldn't agree more!! DH got mad because I hadn't taken my car for an inspection, oil change, and tire thing. But where I take it, that's a 2 hour appointment. I can't take LO to a 2 hour appointment. He just schedules things whenever he wants, goes, and is all nonchalant. He can go before work, after work (and come home late), during work... I have to take LO to appointments with me, and it's a whole new level of stress. I can't just schedule things whenever I want -- LO has to be fed, nap, etc. DH is gone for 15 hours tomorrow -- all of LO's waking hours for sure. And he just assumes that's cool with me, that I'll happily care for LO. And I will. But I do not have the same freedom that he does. He never asks me to care for LO so he can do something; he just does and knows LO is taken care of. I have to ask him. And some times he says no, so it's my job to figure something else out. It's my biggest frustration, I think. 

I realized this week that DH is needing some more alone time just as I do. I'm trying hard to respect this, but it's hard for me. When he comes home, I need him to help me. If I give him a couple hours to himself, I'm essentially not getting any break that day. I know he works hard for our family and deserves a break too -- but he gets one at work. An hour, actually. Plus he decides how intensely he works and can work slower on a day when he's not at 100%. I do not have that luxury as LO climbs up me for a 10 millionth time. 

Sigh. 

I hope this isn't making my DH sound awful. He's not. He's a good husband and father. It's just my frustration.

@shellbell3845‌ my DH is the exact same. It almost feels like he thinks he's doing be a favor if he changes Los diaper or something. I alwayyyys have to ask him to take her and feed her/change her/nap her etc. he never takes it on himself.

Poor lo is sick she's so sad and snotty.

I'm at Target right now picking up boxes of full size candy bars at a killer price. 2 boxes of 18 pack candies for $5.

It was always my dream to come across a house giving out full size bars.. it never happened though. =((  Our new neighbors will think we're awesome but it won't be happening again next year unless Target makes another pricing mistake.

You guise, this is another post about my candy. .. you have no idea how much I love a good deal. I had to get to Target and back in the 13 minutes before DH had to leave for work. I went in a sweatshirt that I sleep in, striped capris pj bottoms, dressy sandals because they were at the door, and my night nursing bra that is near useless since I've lost so much weight. Oh and my hair looks like a rat's nest. I honestly don't think I've ever left the house looking worse.
