After finally getting to the hospital, we got checked in and went to pre-op. After waiting for awhile, the explanation of everything, and all that jazz, I got walked back around eight am.
The anesthesiologist put the spinal in, and they laid me down. I started to feel dizzy and nauseous right away. I kept closing my eyes and passing out I guess. At one point, DH squeezed my hand, and I came to again, right before my sweet Kaelyn came out. The doctor said that he could see hair, and then a little tugging and she was out! The first thing that I heard DH say was, "she's so beautiful."
I watched them clean her up while they were finishing with me, and then DH brought her to me. I got to kiss her and about ten minutes later got to hold her in recovery. My love has been with me ever since. She loves to snuggle on my chest. :-)
Weight: 8 lbs 1 oz.
