I will not do anything to alter my look pre-baby or immediately post baby. Any appearance related decisions will be made during a much saner point in my life, and not when I'm facing a major life change. I know more people that regretted their "mommy makeover" because they did it on impulse than were happy with the results. For me, I also need to assess what my body is like after labor, and when I determine if I can breast feed, prior to making any major changes to my appearance.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
I'm getting my haircut but only because I get it cut every 4 weeks anyways. It doesn't make me feel sexier and I doubt anything could in my current "condition".
This.
Unless we are talking about the plastic surgery version, which comes with a tummy tuck and breast lift.

Same here, I did my normal cut and color right before my shower, and I may get it trimmed and toned again right before my induction. Nothing outside the norm though!

DH and I have already talked about me getting this done at some point. FFFC?
I made sure to get my toes done and will be touching up my highlights in a few days so I don't have to worry about it for a while after the birth. I am also obsessively shaving my legs, pits and bits "just in case". I'm sure that when the day comes I won't care about having roots, hairy legs and a pantyline that looks like Osama Bin Laden's beard but right now it feels EXTREMELY important. That and scrubbing my fridge every five seconds. Is there such a thing as body nesting?
I'm getting my hair done 10 days before my due date (so, in other words, it will not happen), but it's just touching up roots and getting a cut. Then I'm getting a pedicure.

Not really a make over but I do have planned to get pampered a few days before my scheduled RCS. A mani / pedi, and a massage and I will be getting my hair trimmed and layered again.
I've been planning on getting my hair cut "this summer" since before I found out I was pregnant. I'm also a good 2-3 months overdue for touching up my roots. Both were supposed to get done before my BIL's wedding and then before my maternity pics and then my baby shower and now I just don't care. I am having some delusions about giving myself a mini makeover before we do pictures for our Christmas cards so that I will look good for the holidays and I have a gift certificate for a mani-pedi with my cousin so we'll see how that goes...
@Slapdashalice, I'm pretty sure you're onto something with this body nesting thing lol
I have a hair hi light appt next week!! I reallyyyy need it. And hoping to get my toes/ hands gel painted again one last time ... And I kinda want a spray tan which I know is so rediculous... But they make me feel prettier
I am looking forward to a makeover after baby. I am off work until the new year and I will be starting a new position in another component of my organization. With the new year and new position I think I want a new look. I will probably try a new hair style and go shopping because I will need business attire for my new position whereas my current position was very casual.
Had my maternity photos Wednesday, so interested to see how those turn out. Otherwise, I am looking forward to having a pedicure and no chip mani if time allows before L&D! I am not allowed to have painted nails at work (work in ICU, and chipped polish carries bacteria, boo), so really want to get a mani as soon as I am finished with my last shift!
Getting my hair trimmed tomorrow (hopefully) and will plan on getting a final pedi next Friday. Of course, I will spend all of next week pondering the most important question - what color of polish should I get?

I just cut my hair a good 8 inches recently. It was in prep for baby. I just remember having long hair when DS was born and absolutely hating it because it would get all over my face. I'll probably get another trim and thinning out done just before baby hits 12 weeks and all of my hair starts to shed.
I also plan on getting a pedi a week before baby's due date.

If I could afford it, I would do it. No flames from me.
My roots are obscene. Fortunately, my hair stylist said she'd come to my house. Been going platinum for about a year. Want to end up with a mother of dragons type do.
I got my 2inches trimmed. And I'm going darker. But nothing to drastic. With DD I went from waste length hair to a swing bob. And I still regret it. 7 years later and my hair still has never reached that length and been healthy. I change color a ton tho. So my fault
Clothes. I want lots of clothes after the baby comes. Already highlighted my hair and got a pedicure so I'm set there. Might get one more pedi this weekend because they are so damn relaxing.
Agree!!!! I've been avoiding looking at all my favorite designer's fall collections after almost crying when I saw one of the emails (it was a rough day). I plan on hitting the holiday sales rather hard for new work and fun clothes for myself!

I'm currently wearing braid extensions that go to my butt. I'll be getting new braids next week that stop just above the bra. I'll also be doing a mani and pedi before L&D.
About a month after having the baby, I'm going to get a refreshed short bob and highlights. I rocked the hairstyle for about 9 months before getting pregnant, but I've worn braids my entire pregnancy, so I expect that people will act like it's new.

I have been dying to go clothes shopping. I finally broke down and just bought some open cardigans because as long as they fit in the arms/shoulders my belly makes no difference. It was satisfying!
@DreadGamerWife important decisions indeed! Do I do red nails or something more natural? I've been thinking about this all week.
@golfingdarwinfish ohhhh yes. I miss clothes shopping. I was in jcrew the other day helping my husband pick out jeans and I tried on a few jackets...so depressing. Can't wait to slim down. That and I'm tired of opening doors INTO my belly due to poor depth perception!
