2. Age at delivery? (optional)
3. Any other children? Furbabies?
4. How are you feeling?
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Mar 2015, 16W7D, Avocado
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 35
3. Any other children? Furbabies? Nope
4. How are you feeling? I've been on a hormonal roller-coaster the past few days. Some days I can eat and function normally, other days I'm nauseous all day combined with moodiness and fatigue. I also have mild reflux and round ligament pain. OB recommended a maternity girdle for the pain (anyone have any experience with these? Any brand recommendations?).
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I went to the OB on Thursday. Everything is still normal (phew).
Rant: I find doctors appointments to be so draining. There's the anxiety of not-knowing what to expect each appointment, waiting around at each step, and my doc is in a busy part of town with traffic and parking problems. (Love my doc though!)
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
I have a friend who is single with no kids and lives half-way around the world who has been the most authentic in her interest and support. I hope I can reciprocate some day!

I was wondering do we team up for labor buddies on here too or only on bmb? Then they update all the boards too? Sorry I'm confused! Lol I did sign up on Jan board via fb group. Have a good week all my lovely ladies!

4. How are you feeling? I am finally coming off my cold junk. The cough always lingers. Family Dr wants me to get checked for asthma after baby.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I go to my new Dr Tuesday. Had my GD consultation this past week and she thinks i may be able to handle it via diet and exercise alone. YAY! Rave: we decided we are taking the girls on a spontaneous weekend trip to the beach next month. Going to tell them 2 days before. They are going to be so excited. Momma is excited to about walking the beach at night.
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
WOW. Good question. I think it is my pastor's wife. She was one of the first ppl we told as soon as we found out. So very supportive.
Proud Mom to Kaleigh (14yr) Emma (12yr) and Hanna (7yr)
1. Due date?
How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
Due May 29, 5 Weeks, Appleseed!
2. Age at delivery? 35
3. Any other children? Furbabies?

4. How are you feeling?
Sick as hell. Woke up today with full on morning sickness AND I am starting to
develop a cold. GAH!
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
Meeting midwife for the first time on October 9th. Rant: All I want
to do is be home sleeping! SO mad I don’t have any sick time off until Oct 1st.
QOTW: Who,
aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in
your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most
excited to tell?
My BFF Marie.
Her and DH are the only ones who know, and she is OVER THE MOON excited!
Already talking about taking photos of the baby, etc (she is a photographer). :
)
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Jan 24, 2015; 22 wks, 6 days; Papaya
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 37
3. Any other children? Furbabies? Nope - this is our first
4. How are you feeling? OK - other than feeling large I really think I have noticeably grown since last week!
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Hmm - next appt isn't until week 24, no milestones really.
Raves: Non-pregnancy related - had an interview yesterday - I think it went really well! Will hear back next week. Just hope that if she could tell I was pregnant that it won't influence her view of me. And sort-of pregnancy related - our babymoon is next week! Decided to go to London (our favorite city - was last there towards the end of last year). Looking forward to it!
Rants: Non-pregnancy related - I am a NYY fan (living in Boston!) - we got tickets for the NYY-BOS game tonight so we could see Jeter play one last time. Well since NYY didn't make the playoffs, and last night was the Yankees last home game, he isn't going to play shortstop... he will only play one or two of the three games, and then only as DH. I am really bummed - hope tonight is one of the games he is playing!
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
My 3 closest girlfriends have been really amazing and supportive. I told one at 5 weeks since she was visiting us for a few days (and I was starting to get nauseous, didn't eat any of the foods like sushi or have wine like normal, etc). The other 2 I told at 12/13 weeks. They have all been wonderful - one has 2 kids (youngest is 19mos, one has a 22mos old with a 2nd due in 2 mos, and the third just had her first in April). They have been so helpful with everything from symptoms, fears, questions, and also what I really need and don't. The one who visited at 5 weeks is even coming in Nov for a long weekend to help me get stuff ready, etc! I don't know what I would have done without these ladies.
@Lady2010- fx that you get great news! I interviewed for and was offered a position at 36 weeks. I actually learned during my crazy search this summer (I contract and happened to be inbetween contracts) that disclosing early on in the process made things go much more smoothly. Just some food for thought.
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? October 13. 37w4d. Baby is the size of a winter melon
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 36
3. Any other children? Furbabies? DS#1- almost 3, furbaby puggle- 6 mo
4. How are you feeling? Generally good. I'm having a lot of rlp, back pain, and am moving slowly due to my size. Everything is looking good, though (BP and blood sugar have been low).
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I go every week- next appt is Monday morning. Not really expecting more than vitals and measurements at this one (I'll be 38 w). I'm still trying to decide if I'll consent to be checked at 39 w. My first arrived at 39w6d so I might wait to see if I get to 40w.
Non baby related- I had two more interviews this week (one contract, one perm). The manager for the contract is super interested in calling me when she has a need. The interviews for the perm position went really well and I should know something next week. I'm completely floored that I've been looking since my last contract started to slow down (it went from FT to PT at the beginning of the summer) and wasn't really getting anywhere. Suddenly, when I was looking a little less, I get called for positions that are a great fit. Funny how things work somtimes!
QOTW:
Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most
supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people,
who are you the most excited to tell? Everyone that knows is excited. Although my mom sounded a little bummed when we found out that we were having a boy (my brother and SIL were supposed to adopt a baby that was due in July and found out right before me that it was a girl. So far- there are 4 boy grandkids so I know she is dying for someone to have a girl). We didn't really do a big announcement so I'm guessing that we'll get some very suprised responses when we announce that he has arrived.
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 2/16/15 | 19w4d | Mango 2. Age at delivery? (optional) 43 3. Any other children? Furbabies? 1ds, 1dd, 2 dogs, 2 cats 4. How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good for the most part. Having more and more round ligament pain and I'm still tired by the time I get off work. And I feel huge! That's about it 5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Next appointment is 10/1, which is the anatomy scan. I've been feeling baby more for about 4 weeks now, but just this week she's really kicked (no pun intended) into high gear and last night when I was laying on my back I could actually see my belly moving all around. AWESOMESAUCE! QOTW:
Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most
supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people,
who are you the most excited to tell? Everyone is very excited about the baby and I can't really say anyone is more supportive than any other. Truly, my husband gets the Golden Award for being most supportive!!
@NeonNoon - That's so cool about your buddy! I am totally with you on the hormonal bit!! What exactly does RLP feel like? For the past few days I've been so sore, like I rode a horse for 10 hours straight, my inner thighs, groin area and lower abdomen have been so sore and heavy with pain - is this the same thing? Wonder if I should call my OB... it's worse on days when I walk a lot. Or is this just what it's like when you're preggo?
@Samuelismomma- FX for you! Good luck on V day! I would love to be someone's labor buddy, how do you know all the different boards they're on though?
@mandyreads - Yay!! Awesome news about diet & exercise for the GD! Also glad you are feeling better! Hope you have a wonderful time @ the beach!! We're going this weekend -- so looking forward to my toes in the sand!
@lgsdesigner - Ugh!! Sorry to hear about the cold, combined w/ the MS that is killer! Hope you feel better soon! So glad to hear everyone has good support!
@Lady2010 - Oooh! Good luck with getting the job!! Hope you have a great trip!
@MsMacual - Good luck on getting the job you want! So excited for you - it's almost time, hope the rest of your appts go smoothly!
@anonymousmotley - That is so exciting to feel the baby move! I can't wait for that!! Props to your hubby!
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? March 18th 2015, 15W2D, Orange
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 38
3. Any other children? Furbabies? FTM here, 1 doggie & 2 kitties
4. How are you feeling? A lot of ups & downs, mood shifts, days of feeling pretty good (but still tired!) and then days of lots of pain. For the past few days I've been so sore, like I rode a horse for 10
hours straight, my inner thighs, groin area and lower abdomen have been
so sore and heavy with pain.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? My next OB appt is 10/2 and looking forward to my anatomy scan on 10/23!
Rant: I don't want to work anymore!! But of course have 7 projects in the pipeline and the phone's ringing off the hook. It's been so hard concentrating! But I just have to keep in mind, the work I do now will hopefully help pay for my time off when baby arrives! Positive thoughts!!
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell? All of the grandparents are super excited, my husband's mom has been very supportive, which surprised me some, I mean his parents have always been there if we needed anything, but we're the type that rarely asks for anything. But she has offered to come stay with us for a few weeks to help out and I think that's really nice! They live 3+ hours away and already have 7 other grandchildren they help out with! I know my mom would love to be there, but she has major medical issues of her own that prevent her from being able to help out more and my dad & stepmom live in Puerto Rico, but hopefully we'll be able to fly them here to visit for a few weeks.

@mdogan29 I joined one on my bmb board Jan 15 , they have fb group! They are gonna assign us buddy's that are due a couple weeks from us. They update but I don't know if just on that board or you tell them all the boards you are on! Maybe we can do something like it on here!
@mdogan29 - it hurts me in the same areas, but it's not prolonged pain. The pain comes in sharp bursts that last a few seconds at most. My OB seemed more concerned than I was about it. I think she expects me to develop back pain later on so she wants me to start wearing a maternity girdle. I would at least mention it to the OB at the next appointment.
@NeonNoon - Okay, so it doesn't really hurt much when I'm sitting, it's when I stand up & walk after sitting, but it doesn't really go away while I'm walking, but then when I sit again I feel fine. It may just be b/c I'm overweight too - just more weight to carry around w/ it... thanks for letting me know!

QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
Hubby has been good but teasing me with frozen drinks lol....I am alittle hurt that my Mom hasn't been as involved even though she is not working anymore.
Baby #1 MC November 2007
Baby #2 MC June 2008
Baby #3 Born April 2009
Baby #4 due date February 2015
1. EDD is May 17, I'm 6w5d, baby is the size of a pea
2. I'll be 38 at delivery
3. DD is 1.5 yrs old, also have a dog
4. So far I'm still feeling pretty good. Just really tired. I had a couple bouts of dizziness last week and I feel bloated all the time but it's really not that bad.
5. My first appointment is in a couple weeks. The wait is killing me.
QOTW: I told my immediate family and best friend right away this time, so that they can keep this baby in their thoughts and prayers to stick. And they've been so supportive! I'm so worried about miscarriage. Basically I told anyone that I'd want support from in the case of a miscarriage.
@mandyreads that's great news!! @Lady2010 FX for you! Oh and London...I'm jealous
!. 2/22. 18 wks. sweet potato.
2. 46
3. cat
4. Finally feeling better this morning after a terrible head cold. I so wanted to rip off my face Suppose to go out tonight with a bunch of friends for our anniversary but it doesn't look like that's happening. I have been missing so many nights out with friends...boo.
I have a nice size fibroid that is making me miserable with pain but that's about it. So happy no more nausea
5. Had an OB apt this past Thursday and heard that wonderful HB. I actually brought Xanax with me thinking something was going to be wrong. Crazy I know.
QOTW: Everyone knows! My MIL is more excited than my mom but my mom's good friend told me she is just a nervous wreck. Shes excited but keeping it on the downsize. Whatever. Pretty much all my friends are excited. They have been on this journey with me for 3 yrs so they are over the moon excited!
Hope everyone has a great weekend. It's suppose to be in the 80's here!!
ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11.
2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do
"shared" program.
Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months.
Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
@mdogan29 Yes! I have had that same pain on and off - soreness down my inner thighs as if I was in volleyball practice for a week. My theory is that as your muscles relax, they are more likely to get sore from everyday activities, hence the odd aches along our legs. And I hear you and @lgsdesigner on wanting to stop working already!
@supersarah77 I am the same as far as m/c fear goes... except I haven't told anyone yet.
NeonNoon that is so nice of your single friend! love those faraway friends who simply don't pay attention to the distance!
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
May 16, 2015, 7 weeks on the dot today. Blueberry (with a minuscule brain (can't be very bright at this point...) and kidneys, no less).
2. Age at delivery? (optional)
36.
3. Any other children? Furbabies?
Nope! I want a dog but DH isn't keen due to our travel schedule. He seems to be longingly looking at a neighborhood beagle these days, though.
4. How are you feeling?
Mostly fine. Tired in the evenings. Also tired in the mornings. Some of the most annoying symptoms (crazy acne and constipation) have eased up a bit (only two new pimples yesterday, as opposed to the usual dozen). Still no nausea although I have burping fits (charming...) and momentary seconds of queasiness. Mild headaches and dizziness. Most jarringly, I've kind of lost my taste for coffee. I'll have a few sips and then leave the rest.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? First U/S next Friday! Excited and quite scared!
My rave is that my husband is finally starting to come around. He was really freaked out at first and was worrying himself sick with questions: are we ready? what kind of world are we bringing a child into? will we love the child enough? etc. (He's kind of intense that way, but it's part of why I love him!) Now he has actually started initiating conversations about the baby; last night, as we were leaving an Italian restaurant (courtesy of an urgent pizza craving), he said we'd have to start getting the kid used to different flavors and textures early on so s/he doesn't end up only eating cheese pizza for years. He suggested anchovies, sardines and capers as the first solid foods.
QOTW: I haven't told anyone yet. Husband just told his best friend yesterday, after hearing from the friend that they are also expecting and are basically at the same point as we are - very weird! Then they joked about having to make up some kind of wild story to explain the coincidence (and it would have to be wild as they live quite far). I'm most excited to tell one of my best friends who lives half a world away in Europe, but I will wait until after the first U/S next Friday.
@marijaa333 I'm the opposite. MH really wants a Rottie and I'm like nope. We both work 10/11 hr days and no way would I keep a dog home alone for that long!! He's jealous because I have my cat Guess we could get a dog walker but my answer is still no. Lab maybe but my cat is one spoiled cat. He will not tolerate a dog!!
Happy to hear YH is coming around. Mine was like that in the beginning. He is getting a bit better. Hopefully a lot better when baby comes!!

@BeckyP005 I understand the anti-dog argument, and am willing to wait until we have at least a tiny yard (we're in a condo now). Cats are invariably the boss, though, so I can see how yours would have final say in the dog matter! Glad to hear your husband is also coming around. "It's a process," as the cliche goes.
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
4/5/14, 13 weeks, peach
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 35
3. Any other children? Furbabies? boy age 15 months, 2 labrador retrievers
4. How are you feeling? Still feel the same first trimester ick, but less so
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
We just had our nuchal cord screen and there were no issues. I'm waiting for my bloodwork. The ultrasound tech said that if she had to predict, she'd say we're more likely girl than boy, but it was really too early to say with any certainty.
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
I have a close friend who has been very supportive.
Thanks @mandyreads, @MsMacual, @mdogan29, and @BeckyP005. I think the interview went well - she has a few other candidates to interview but I should hear feedback and any next steps towards the end of this week. I told my recruiter to call me even though I will be in London (we travel overseas a bit so I have an international plan)
@MsMacual - thanks for the tip. My recruiter, who does know I am pregnant, advised me not to say anything in the first round. He said why give them a reason to not consider you. If I make it to the next round, I will likely want to disclose but will follow his guidance.
Will keep you posted! Off to London on Weds morning - can't wait!
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
5/29 - appleseed!
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 40
3. Any other children? Furbabies? 1 DS and 1 rescue dog
4. How are you feeling?
Bloated and a little nauseous but otherwise fine!
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
Just had my third blood draw at the RE this morning. Next week will be my first sonogram where I'll finally get confirmation on how many are in there! We transferred two perfect blasts - I'm guessing one - DH thinks its two.
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
We did IVF and my BFF (who has gone through it all) and my mom have been the most supportive aside from DH.
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
Due June 1, 2015 so I'm 5w exactly today. Appleseed.
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 38
3. Any other children? Furbabies?
One DD (2.5 yrs). I lost my furbaby (cat) of 14.5 yrs in early July. I still cry thinking about him.
4. How are you feeling?
Ok, after answering that last question... a little weepy. Otherwise pretty good. Had a great workout today. The extreme bloating from yesterday is down a bit as it the gas. The nipples are tender and stupidly pert but nothing that some good padded bras can't handle.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Still waiting for our midwife to call to set out 9w appt. My big rant is that NIPT is so ridiculously expensive in Canada and is not covered by our health care (but then I could go on and on about what isn't covered by our health care).
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
DH and a friend who totally outted me at lunch last week (day after BFP) are the only ones who know. I can't wait to tell my parents because they're going through a lot of health issues so I know that they'd be ecstatic about good news.
marijaa333 We have a beagle that is wonderful with the kids! We got her then 2 months later I found out I was pregnant with my last little one. I was not happy. Lol! My dd is now 22 months and LOVES the dog! She is such a sweet dog my dd will lay on top of her, pull her ears all kinds of things that should make her mad. She just takes it and is just happy to have the attention.
@mandyreads that is great news about the GD!! Hope it works out for you!!
mdogan29 I understand about the not wanting to work!! I just want to close up my online stuff and call it a year! Lol!
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
I am 12 weeks!! Yay! Baby is a plum
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 38
3. Any other children? Furbabies?
DD 10 - DD 5 - DD 22months - one picky cat and one beagle.
4. How are you feeling?
A little bit better. I think the ms is getting better, I say that then feel like crap. Lol!
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
Seen Dr last week and all was good.
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
Probably my mom. She had me when she was almost 43 and keeps telling me to slow down. That I am "older" Lol! I just say mom I do not feel "older" and I love you. I am fine, I feel like I am 28 not 38!! She just wants to make sure she has another grand baby
1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 5/20 / 7w tomorrow / blueberry
2. Age at delivery? (optional) 42
3. Any other children? Furbabies? Two dogs - Charlotte and Paddy
4. How are you feeling? Relatively fine. Still a little tired, bloated and cranky, but no m/s.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? 7w u/s tomorrow to see the heartbeat. I'm nervous!
QOTW:
My co-worker. We talk about it everyday. She also struggled with IF and now has two healthy baby girls. Unfortunately, most of my family knew I was doing IVF, so they all know I'm KU. Not too many left to surprise except my grandmothers.

2. Age at delivery? (optional) 40/41
3. Any other children? Furbabies? DS 2 years old, 2 dogs and 2 cats
4. How are you feeling? It's weird. I have really good days with little to no M/S, then the next day I feel just okay and the following day, it's bad. I think overall it is starting to lessen. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I have my NT scan/bloodwork Thursday, if we decide to do any other bloodwork tests, it will probably be that day as well and then I have my regular OB appointment later that afternoon. Thursday will be busy.
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell? We have only told people at work and my parents and a couple of close friends. I can't wait to share with DH's side of the family, especially my SIL. She will be super excited. She wanted to know when we were planning to have our next one back in August. Little did I know I was already pregnant at that time. :-)

QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
Everyone that knows is excited. Although my mom sounded a little bummed when we found out that we were having a boy (my brother and SIL were supposed to adopt a baby that was due in July and found out right before me that it was a girl. So far- there are 4 boy grandkids so I know she is dying for someone to have a girl). We didn't really do a big announcement so I'm guessing that we'll get some very suprised responses when we announce that he has arrived.

3. Any other children? Furbabies?

Feeling pretty good for the most part. Having more and more round ligament pain and I'm still tired by the time I get off work. And I feel huge! That's about it
QOTW: Who, aside from your SO (if you have one), has been the most supportive thus far in your pregnancy? If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
Everyone is very excited about the baby and I can't really say anyone is more supportive than any other. Truly, my husband gets the Golden Award for being most supportive!!

FTM here, 1 doggie & 2 kitties
4. How are you feeling?
A lot of ups & downs, mood shifts, days of feeling pretty good (but still tired!) and then days of lots of pain. For the past few days I've been so sore, like I rode a horse for 10 hours straight, my inner thighs, groin area and lower abdomen have been so sore and heavy with pain.

It may just be b/c I'm overweight too - just more weight to carry around w/ it... thanks for letting me know!

Switched clinics to do "shared" program.
2. Age at delivery? (optional)

3. Any other children? Furbabies?
First U/S next Friday! Excited and quite scared!
He's jealous because I have my cat
Guess we could get a dog walker but my answer is still no. Lab maybe but my cat is one spoiled cat. He will not tolerate a dog!!
Happy to hear YH is coming around. Mine was like that in the beginning. He is getting a bit better. Hopefully a lot better when baby comes!!

If you haven't told many people, who are you the most excited to tell?
marijaa333 We have a beagle that is wonderful with the kids!
Lol!

Probably my mom. She had me when she was almost 43 and keeps telling me to slow down. That I am "older" Lol! I just say mom I do not feel "older" and I love you. I am fine, I feel like I am 28 not 38!! She just wants to make sure she has another grand baby
