Stretching out Toms

I remember someone posted on here once how to stretch out Toms before wearing them. I bought canvas ones on Zulily, same size as my others, but they are so tight I can't even get them on. I'm thinking my feet just haven't gone all the way back down to pp size. My well worn toms fit fine so I know I just need to stretch these a bit. How do I do that if I can't get them on my feet?

Never tried one, but a shoe stretcher is a thing...

I'm hoping my feet go back down in size, the pair I bought are the same size as my others.
