I'm going to try and explain this next part as well as I can but again, I'm on my mobile, so if you need clarification please let me know. Only a handful of other more regular (I don't really consider myself a regular because to be quiet honest since I've been back at work the only day I make sure to check the bump and post is on Tuesdays when my ticker changes, because I enjoy starting that thread and reading where others are in their pregnancies) anyway, only a handful of people would have known the struggles texasmama786 has had or any of us who don't post a lot would have had for that matter. It seems like every week I see more and more names that I do not recognize. If I were to post something like Texasmama did I wouldn't assume that someone agreeing with my sarcasm would have gone through my post history to see if their comment was enabling me or not.
I think the biggest problem many have here is that they assume people read everything in a post and/or everything in a comment. This is usually why my responses are so long. I was taken out of context many times when I first started posting here so I've learned to either not post or write a long response.
I'm not saying that I agree with some of the comparisons sparks fly made but I don't see a point in jumping to the conclusion that she supports abuse either.

You're free to laugh, but your post specifically criticized others who had only posted to let the poster know that it wasn't okay to feel like she should be grateful to have a roof over her head.
So she made a "joke" that may or may not have been a joke. It very well may have been a cry for help.
Others who probably did know her history told her it wasn't okay if that's how it really was meant - "not funny" as in that's sad if you really feel that way and he shouldn't say that and you shouldn't ever have to feel that way, not as in "no one should ever think this is funny".
YOU are the one who basically told everyone else to back off, that it's just a joke, that you have a right to find it funny, and we all have our panties too far in a twist. Because someone suggested it wasn't appropriate to control a woman by making her feel like her basic life necessities had to be earned somehow. How dare they ruin your joke!
I find most of your posts are confrontational and self-aggrandizing, not to mention insanely illogical and stupid. I won't be responding to you anymore here because I think you add nothing but trash to any conversation you post in. I reserve the right to counter your nonsense anytime I see it, though.

As far as you need to know, I'm a dumb Southern housewife... it's all what you want to see, I guess? Never found it necessary to brag about my intellectual attributes and accomplishments - I let my intelligence speak for itself. If you need to convince someone you're smart, you probably aren't.
And yes, clearly I'm the one who needs an education and lacks the ability to make basic logical comparisons and a rational argument.

So are you guys ok? Is the real question. An opinion is an opinion and someone laughing is not something you can judge. And if you want to, then fine. But I then have the right to tell you what I think of people who act like Nazis.
So don't waste your time telling me what it is. These women embody it in most of their rants, and I'm perfectly content with assuming they just don't know better.
I am grateful for the women on here who bravely read this board just because they want to learn but never post because they see the rude dynamic and are better than that. I wish I was. But I can't sit there and watch others be attacked for actually feeling safe enough to speak. God forbid they post something the 'mean girls' pack doesn't like.
And what makes you think you're important enough for me to try to 'convince' of anything? That wasn't even half the list of anything I've done in my life. It was all the things I owe to my mom. I'm sorry yours didn't teach you better?

Edit: it's Monday so I did start the fitness thread and the STM thread asked about boobs and I responded. Am I not allowed to be knowledgeable in those areas? Seriously how did I get called out for this? Is it wrong to exercise and have boobs??? If so, I don't want to be right.
