@sdtchica13, I'm excited for Grey's--will miss Christina, though! Who will Meredith's 'person' be now?
@kaylakim, I think Landon is done with naps, too--it's pretty rare that he will actually take a decent nap at home or at DC unless we've/they've done something totally exhausting in the morning. He needs about 11 hours at night though (7:30-6:30) and always sleeps so well. At least he stays quietly in his room during naptime, though (and the boys both nap at the same time)--so we can still get a little break during the day For now, anyway!
DH loves criminal minds. He watches it with DD. I am bummed that we were not able to get cable since one of our trees needs to be trimmed so the guy can get to the box. Hopefully we will have it later this week.
@cshum24 have you tried goats milk? We are trying it now since cows milk gave DD diarrhea.
@gutsymama well wishes for you and lucus. I think DD is in love. I was reading this thread with her on my lap when his pics came up. she got out of my lap and crawling on the desk to touch his picture on the screen.
The park was kind of a no go there were big kids there playing sniper with play guns :-/ but it was a nice walk to, from and through. Haddock wanted out of the stroller on the way home and he wanted to hold the dogs leash. Really, really WANTED to hold the leash. Real tears and all. He NEEDED to hold the leash.
@kaylakim thanks I appreciate the good thoughts @littlelegslo GH, FTW. Obviously this is what the cool kids watch just kidding. Soaps unite I'm looking forward to Grey's but it feels like it has been off forever. Also looking forward to NCIS and Blue Bloods.
Thanks everyone! We are making it, but I'm not sure how much longer. You know, he really loves to see other babies - maybe we could get some mileage out of a thread where you all post videos of your adorable littles? If nothing else it would get me through nap jail tomorrow
Had a long talk with GI - We are trying a couple more things, but going back on TPN is on the table. More to come whenever we get there.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
So this is what I'm doing this evening....he's been here since 6:15 or so.

I am also in the excited for Greys Anatomy AND love Criminal Minds but can't watch it when home alone clubs. Criminal Minds tends to stick with me for a long time.
I just accidentally left the stove on for over an hour while we were gone. The house smells like burnt salsa, but everything is fine. Such a mix of emotions to walk in and discover that. Horror that the stove was still on, but so much relief that the house wasn't burned down.
@kaylakim and @lancomechica Thanks. It's ok--not entirely unexpected but frustrating nonetheless.
Been there. Not with students but customers. Oh...I flew to Jacksonville to speak at this hospital and we were to have 15 people and we only have 4?!?!
So tired but I can't seem to peel myself off the couch. Plus DH brought home chocolate cake for me and I feel the need to eat it tonight. Must.get.up.for.chocolate.cake.

Today was picture day at the preschool. They were using a different studio this year. Not only did they take a brother sister picture of the two that go there - he did one of all 3 and I'm really hopeful that it was super cute. Then he took of just the baby! I will be curious what my options are in way of packaging since I had 3 kids. Fx.
@lizabethann06 That's pretty much every one of my days. Except that the left diagram would be drawn on logarithmic paper with every planned result calculated to the third decimal point. Which makes the contrast to reality just that much sadder. (Or more fun, depending on how much you like tequila at the end of your day).
Heartbeat was 170 :-) it was such a relief to hear right away.
Im trying to extract my nipple from this sleeping child's mouth but I've not been successful. Im going to sleep now and im sure I'll be up in about 5 hours at the latest for a snack and some motn bumping.
Oh and y&r the whole victor Victoria thing was always weird to me. I cant remember the mom and son's names.... pre-teen me was always glad I wasn't named after my dad.
Dh: I think we've been a lot happier the last 2 months. Pretty much since you quit breastfeeding. Me: you've been less mean! Dh: no, you've been less irritable; I've stayed the same. Me: yup, you're right... You've pretty much stayed your prick self. )
MH is out of town and MIL is coming to babysit Alex tomorrow. When I spoke to her last she said she would be here at 8:30 at the latest, I start work at 9, so that is fine.
Tonight MH says she won't be here until 8:45. Than he gets pissy at me for saying that doesn't work. Sorry, but it is a 10 min drive to work, plus a 3-4 min walk into the building and office. I refuse to be late to work on a regular day, let alone in the first week on the new job.

He pissed me off. Apparently he was wrong and she is planning on being here at 8:30, but seriously H. Why do you have to be like that?!?! (This all stems from him thinking I leave for work too early).

Ugh, annoying!! Btw, I leave at 6:45 for work... I don't think 8:30 is too early!!

It's more he doesn't think I need to have 20 mins from the time I leave the house till the time I start work. I rather be safe than sorry!
I feel for you! My last job had days that I left the house at 5am! So not going to miss that!

I poured the sauce over some stir fry veggies and she just loved it.

2 students showed up at the event slated for 30-40 people this afternoon. 2. Arg.

DH brought two pieces home and I could only eat one of the them So sweet. I have more for tomorrow!!
@martyn17 So sorry about no chocolate in the house.
I hate when I get a crazy craving and there is nothing to enjoy.

Despite many last minute injuries and players not being available, you will all be happy to know I won my fantasy game.
Next week I play DH....
He has never beaten me :P
