I’ve been out of touch with J13 for the past few days! Hope
to jump back into it soon and answer my Elfster questions and get books ordered
for my mommy and baby!
We flew to Memphis and Mississippi this past weekend and got
into town at midnight last night and I’m back at work this morning. Soooo tired
and can’t really drink tooo much caffeine because of being knocked up.
Pregnancy has been going fine but Ulcerative Colitis flare
up is rearing it’s ugly head again. @mainerocks….this sucks!
@haddocky, Thanks for your fitbit message. I will reply
today.
Hope to get back in the loop on things later today and
tomorrow! Have a pleasant Monday, everyone!

Yes @jamis1284! I too will check out Gotham but I'm honestly not holding my breath for that one. I am interested in Stalker though. I think Scorpion looks interesting. I'll check it out at least.
The weather here is going to be amazing today and I really want to take LO to the park but I'm worried he'll fall and get hurt or something. I'm such a baby about him getting hurt.
I am very proud of my DH. He took Tess on such a fantastic outing yesterday morning. She had such a great time, and so did he. At home, I feel like we split things pretty evenly, but she still prefers me and he doesn't take her out on special outings without me much so I think its great that they did something super fun just the two of them. Apparently there were baby goats to pet and she loved them.
In other news, we finished Orange is the New Black last night. It was awesome.
Hope Monday isn't being too big of a b*tch to anyone.

Yesterday I had the feeling that DH and I were supposed to have #3.
I just looked for an emoticon to express my feelings on this and there isn't one. That's a big discussion we have to have and a lot of puzzle pieces that need to be moved and analyzed. I don't know.
There was a new mom at storytime last week, and this week she brought 3 friends and their kids with her. Normally I would say yay for new people, but they were rather...disruptive. All four moms sat on the floor with their kids inside the circle of chairs. NBD, but there just isn't room for that. One kid screamed the whole time, and his mom just sushed him a couple times instead of removing him. The other three were all ....(I don't know what to call them because they were all under two so I don't want to say violent or bad. Overly energetic? Excitable? Don't play well with others?)
They were pushing kids over right and left, throwing toys AT other kids, hitting kids with toys, etc.
I am assuming that this kind of thing was just a new experience for them and they were excited or something, but I think C was a little traumatized.
>:D< ~O) come in and tell us about it, @gutsymama.
I've been trying – need more hands! And every time I got him to nod off, someone comes in immediately. He's finally napping now, hoping they leave us alone for awhile.
I tried to update my original post but TB is freaking out so I'll just leave this here:
Continuous feeds failed miserably, ending in vomiting (I had told them it wouldn't work, but they had to see for themselves - it's such a ridiculously low rate that it doesn't make any sense why it would bother him, but he's never done well on continuous feeds), which further dehydrated him, so we are back on an IV. He barely ate all day yesterday bc the feeds made him feel like crap so he was miserable and up all night.
This morning he is feeling much better and eating a ton, but they want to try to get him to drink the stuff they were running through his button instead, so worried we're headed for more vomiting. At the very least we will all be unhappy, bc the only thing he wants to drink right now is orange Pedialyte. Offering milk = hysterics. And they want him to not drink anything else but this specialized Pediasure.
They are also going to culture his poo just to rule out any bugs, so we are now on isolation until 48 hours after his next poop (and of course they decided this about 30 min after his morning poop went into the trash). Which is going to be fucking miserable. He won't even stay in the room the entire time during a regular doctor appt. It also means we're here until Wed at least, and I imagine longer. It is keeping us from getting a roommate though, bc the rooms aren't private here. So I guess that's something. We also really love our nurse, and we our full GI team is back since it's a weekday again so we're in good hands.
We spent a lot of time looking out the window this morning, watching TRUCKS!
FKA mimi4347: diaper rash magician and unofficial expert on excrement
This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
DH is coming to the rescue at lunchtime with coffee and more Pedialyte - I'm hoping Luke will share some of his coffee with me ;;)

Earlier he was sitting in the window and so adorably happy that I pulled up my camera to try to take a picture. I got this one:
But then when I tried to get one of him actually looking at the camera and smiling I got this, and this:
I guess he can't be photogenic all the time....

My SO is coming home early today and we're all going to go to the park as a family. This makes me happy because it isn't very often that we get the opportunity to do something outside of the house together
@gutsymama - I'm sorry. Although, I'm glad you like your nurse and your team is on weekdays. Is there anything we can do? I don't know the rules with isolation and I know what you probably need most is company or a break. I wish I lived there to bring you busy activities/break/food whatever. *hugs* you guys are in Our thoughts and prayers!
Despite the early morning for everyone and chaos getting out of the house, DS's special day went awesome! It was such a fun day and I really enjoyed a chance to see him in action with his new class, do activities with him, cuddle, and observe him in class.
Hoping for rests all around now and have lots to do this afternoon.
For the most part the shows content doesn't bother me. Forensics, crime scene investigation, etc = dream job. Only things that get me is when kids are involved...especially younger ones.
@cshum24 cows milk constipated Liam so bad he would scream trying to poop. We us almond milk but still give him yogurt and cheese. The pediatrician says milk has the most lactose causing the constipation
@gutsymama >:D< to you and that absolutely adorable boy of yours. Your family is in my thoughts! Hope you have a short stay and Luke feels better soon!
@gutsymama, LOL at the pics of Luke--I am on a work video conference and bumping at the same time and trying not to laugh at the pics because my co-workers would see me laughing!
I am sorry @gustymama and hope Luke gets to go home soon.
I love Criminal Minds even though it scares me. I will not watch it if DH is nt home. I have watched it from the beginning. I do not know how I feel about Jennifer Love Hewitt being on it. I do not see her as a tough FBI agent. I really liked Prentiss and then Alex. Even though Stalker looks equally as scary and I said I was not going to watch it, I am thinking I might.
My neighbor who never mows his lawn decided he'd do it at nap time yesterday, as well. He also screamed at his kids the entire time which is what actually woke my LO up.
I love Spencer too Morgan can talk to me like he does to penelope any day
Baby girl, one time! He's hot. He's also nice on the show which makes him even hotter!
I am only on page 2 so Im not sure if anyone said anyhing..but have you seen him in interviews? On Ellen he kissed some of the audience memebers. Full in the mouth for like a good 45seconds!

Hugs @guystmama, I just want to snuggle little man!
I love Criminal Minds and am excited for the new season...I totally eye fuck Shemar Moore the entire time, cause he is a sexy piece of man meat, lol! I have definitely found myself massively disturbed by a few of the episodes (turning humans into puppets, anyone?), but I need to watch it.
As for Fall TV, I am psyched for Grey's Anatomy (thought I may be the only one), Chicago P.D., SVU, NCIS and I want to check out NCIS: NOLA and How to Get Away With Murder.
@gutsymama hugs hon!! Still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you guys!
@sparkymcgee that is some heavy stuff you and DH will need to discuss. Keep us posted!!
@sdtchica13 I can't wait for Grey's on Thursday!!! The countdown has been on for weeks!!
Apparently my Scarlett is done taking naps. This is a hard one for me to swallow because I LOVE the times when my kiddos nap. Now I don't get a break anymore. Luckily, she's good at keeping herself occupied and loves to paint and plays so nicely. Bedtime should be a breeze tonight!
Also, I can NOT watch it before bed (which as a pp mentioned as well, is when I have time). My dreams are all sorts of awful when I do. If only I dreamt about that hunk of man talking sweet talk and kissing me instead of about the disturbing stuff.
I think the episode where Hotchner's son "works the case" with him was one of the last I was able to watch. That episode just stuck with me - when I watched it DS was just younger than that. Don't want to say more for those watching them now.
I know the guy who played Gideon stopped being on the show because he didn't like how disturbing it was and that people actually liked watching it. I can see where he is coming from...but I still watch it. But some episodes make me sick to my stomach. If it has a small child involved it is hard for me to watch.
