My very late intro

My name is Mel, and I have been lurking for some time but never got around to posting or introducing myself. DH and I tried for some time to get pregnant so when I got pregnant earlier this year we were thrilled. My due date was October 17th but my little man couldn't wait that long and arrived 9/8. I was placed on hospital bed rest for two weeks before he was born due to my water breaking. Thankfully he was born healthy at 34 weeks and 3 days. He only spent 8 days in the NICU before he got to go home. He never had any of the typical preemie problems (breathing, regulating his temperature, or eating).
