Hi LIW lovelies! I wanted to be sure to get this up today, but don't have time to tag everyone right now, as we are running to the RE's office to get DH's SA done. Please pop in to let us know how you are. I'll update with more personal messages later.

Welcome to Ladies In Waiting. This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.

-Check in is every Wednesday- New members: Post an intro and your current TTC status. - Current members: Post updates, link to your chart, upcoming appointments, requests for T&Ps. - Weekly check-in's will include an inspirational quote.

Please do not worry if your name is not on the check in, I only put those that participated in the previous check in. Please make sure that if you get a BFP to PM me. I try to check PGAL, but sometimes I may miss it.

@Amybunny30 - Sorry you had some bad days, but glad to hear your feeling better. Hope the rest of the week continues to get better for you!

AFM, this week has been really rough for some reason. I have just been feeling really sad. I'm thinking it has to do with my grandma's passing bringing up a lot of emotions, idk.I am still waiting on AF post- D&C. I have no indications that she will arrive anytime soon, but it will have been exactly 4 weeks since my D&C this weekend, so I'm really hoping she gets here in the next couple weeks. I want to get this first cycle of my 2 cycle wait under my belt. Plus I really want to start charting just so I can feel like I'm doing something and like my body is back to normal. I started temping after my D&C just to get into practice but I'm waiting for CD1 of my next cycle to really start charting. Hope all you ladies have a great week!

Waitin on stupid O. I had two positive OPKs but no temp shift yet! Just when I thought my body was back to normal...

@Amybunny30 - I know that AF can take a while, I think the fact that I have no clue when is what is really driving me nuts! I am a little bit of a control freak ;-)

@ctk181 Hopefully AF arrived soon. My doctor told me it could be 4-8 weeks after a d&c. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later!

@Creechmommy hopefully you O soon!

AFM. Nothing different really. DH & I are BDing a lot this week and next, so hopefully we'll have some luck.
I've had a few low moments, I should be finding out what I was having right around now. I try not to think about that but everyone once in a while it pops into my head and makes me sad. I was a little surprised I still had those moments TBH.

A weird (possibly TMI) question for all you ladies. Checking CM, I haven't actually done this, but is it just that you see what is in your underwear? Or do you actually check closer to your cervix? I have never seen EWCM before I don't think, or at least not a lot. I've been trying to pay more attention since my loss, but last month any changes seemed random and all over the place, not what I read online (which also makes me think I didn't O) I think I may not actually have a lot of CM in general.

@Amybunny30 Sorry you have had a tough time! Sending lots of thoughts, prayers and hugs!! @ctk181 Loosing someone you love and admire is so hard, but definitely embrace that she is watching over you! Perhaps some of the emotions has to do with an upcoming AF, I know I definitely experienced this in the week or so before my first AF made her appearance. Here is to hoping!! Lots of hugs! @CreechMommy Did you bed when you had the positive OPK's? I had the complete opposite as you as I had the temp shift but I couldn't turn a OPK. Grr !! Why can't something in our TTC journey be easy/explainable! @SunshineShades It's rare that I get CM, but If I wipe and get a streak of it I will check to see if it's egg white and stretchy. This would definitely be fertile CM! Don't be alarmed if you don't have any, a large percentage of woman don't discharge CM however that doesn't mean there isn't any! Continue to embrace the memory of your angel. Many Hugs!! @ashtog Awe beautiful Lady I am so sorry your going through all this! Don't rush! Take the time you need, the CP is still so fresh! You've been in my thoughts and I am continuing to pray for you! Sending you the biggest of hugs!! I'm on CD22 and FF thinks I ovulated on CD17! You'll see by my chart we didn't have great timing!! This was a weird month as DH's company put out a new software and his job has him travel to universities to re-train them on the updated software! Of course last week and this week he has traveled Sun-Wednes and we purposely skipped Friday (which is when FF says I ovulated, because I did two OPKs and both were negative so I wanted to save bedding until Saturday (thinking it's when I'd get the positive)! DH has low sperm count so timing matters. GRR! Next month, provided we don't get a huge surprise, we are set to do our third round of clomid and will include the trigger shot. We didn't do the trigger this month as it would have likely guaranteed I ovulate when DH was away. He isn't alowed to travel in Oct!!

@DenaMaree yea we based out BD timing on the OPK and less on the temp.  Once the OPKs went back negative we gave up on timing BD.  The weird thing is today and yesterday I feel like I've started getting hot flashes, which is what I felt last month when I got my temp rise.  That makes me think some progesterone is kicking in.  Maybe my thermometer sucks lol.

Hi.  I am new here.   I guess my introduction is that DH and I have been trying for 2 years to get pregnant and got our BFP in August.   We saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks, then at our 7 week appointment found that it was a missed m/c.   I am currently waiting for my D&C tomorrow morning.

It's funny because every phase of the game is WAITING!  First I was waiting for AF now I'm waiting to O and then more and more waiting after that!  I'm just so damn impatient.  It'll be a while before I O and I have plenty of work to keep my hands busy now that school is back in session so I hopefully won't have too much time to obsess about it.

I'm jumping back in today b/c my post will no longer be a whine about AF never showing up today is CD1 and I'm thrilled....finally waiting to O. Fx it happens before CD30 this time!

My little intro- 11 weeks on Monday with new ob u/s and our little angel had no heart beat. Grieving terribly. D&C yesterday. I know I need to be patient for AF and let my body heal but how to you grieve one and plan for another? Have never tracked but am thinking about it. No clue where to start? Or how to after a d&c with no known LMP. Any advice would be helpful. I'm MTHFR + and this is my 4th non consecutive loss. Ugh. I always call it mothereffer!!! Because it really is!

Positive thoughts for you other ladies suffering a recent loss. Most awful thing a woman and family goes through.

@kyliehopeful‌ - I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand the pain and raw emotion. Just had a d&c myself. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care of yourself.

@kyliehopeful Oh, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My last loss was similar... no heartbeat at 9 weeks when we'd previously seen a heartbeat on an earlier u/s. It's so very heartbreaking. Sending hugs your way. Take care of yourself, hun.

Finally getting a chance to catch up here. We dropped off DH's sample yesterday for SA. Hopefully it won't take too long for results. The RE's office said up to 10 days. That seems insanely long to me!?

@amybunny30 @ctk181 I'm sorry you've been feeling down. TTC after loss is such an emotional rollercoaster, on top of all the other life stuff we have to deal with.

@creechmommy I want to TP your chart for you. I'd keep doing the OPKs, temping, and HIO, since I'm not seeing any clear sign of O.

@sunshineshades - I check CM on toilet paper. I always look at the TP after I wipe. I also check my underwear if there's anything there, but often that's not as reliable, as that can dry up.

@denamaree I hear you on timing frustration! I'm waiting for AF so I can start my first medicated cycle, and I have to be out of town for a book festival right around when I expect I will O. So what time I leave for the festival and whether we do IUI or just TI with the meds is now looking like it will depend on timing with that trip. Grrrrrr.

@ashtog I'm so sorry you've been having a rough time. Anyone in your shoes would be and, honestly, you amaze me with your strength. ((big hugs))

@follourdestiny I'm so sorry for the losses of your little ones, especially this newest loss. Please allow yourself time to heal. It takes the body a while to bounce back after a D&C, and it may take several weeks or even months for your hormone levels to return to normal. Be gentle with yourself. 

As for MTHFR, I saw your post on the main board, but noticed that none of our MTHFR ladies have had a chance to respond yet. I'll try to page some for you so they can chime in.

@natalie115 woo-hoo for AF! Never thought you'd be glad to see her, did you? I know exactly how you feel.

@26summer Welcome to the check in. We're sorry you have to be here and for the loss of your little one. I hope you'll find this to be a healing place. Thinking of you today and hoping your D&C and recovery are smooth.

@follourdestiny Yes, a lot of the ladies on this board like the white and pink Mabis one from Wal-Mart (myself included). It's under 10 bucks.

@ldubhawksfan no sign of AF yet. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow! 

@creechmommy I'd say that temp jump is a good sign you O-ed yesterday, but you'll need a couple more high temps to confirm.

@follourdestiny welcome to check in. I am so sorry for your recent and past losses. It is definitely hard grieving your loss and wanting to move forward at the same time. Be patient with yourself and give yourself time to grieve

*sigh* looks like I'm late again to this party. On mobile so I'll be even later doing the individual check ins.
Afm, not too much going on. Had a bit of a breakdown emotionally and started blaming myself for Fenix's loss. I know I know, it wasn't y fault, but tell my heart that when I got one of my vulnerable moments. Anyone else have difficulty getting that through thick skulls? Anywho, still getting the hang of charting. I'll probably switch to vaginal temping at the start of next cycle. Thus may be weird, but DH knows my ovulating scent so well that he can pick out himself when I'm ovulating. (and I swear it's not that obvious - I stay clean). He hasn't even seen my charting so it's interesting to see how close he really is. That was probably just a whole bunch of weird...

Wow, the scent thing is really cool!

I'm sorry you've been feeling low. It's to be expected with all that you've been through. We all know that blaming ourselves doesn't help anything, but we all want so badly to have answers... I don't have any words of advice. Just lots of ((hugs)) Go easy on yourself, hun.
