I am about 4 weeks and 2 days and I've just had mild nausea and some fatigue. I've also been having on and off cramping and some light brown spotting every day for 5 days now. Boobs are a little sore. I'm having blood work done to see why I've been spotting.
5wks 3days mild nausea, teetering from angry moments to wanting to cry to hyper and spacey. Pee constantly. Mild cramping. Less tender breasts since a few days ago.
@alyssarenee2011 You can check out an hcg doubling calculator to find out if your doubling time is within the appropriate range. I like the one on this page: https://www.baby2see.com/preconception/hcg.html. I entered your numbers in and it looks like they're doubling nicely!
I think it's normal for things to come and go. I haven't really been nauseous that much but my boobs constantly hurt and I get cramping on & off- some days more so than others but no spotting. Hormones fluctuate and our bodies adjust. I would worry too much- they might come back
@branders74 Scientifically speaking, blood is pumping more quickly and at a higher volume through the body which can cause swelling, enlarged veins, etc.
@Kj808 : Back pain can be very normal during pregnancy. Even
early on.
@clairevcasti : Your body is doing a ton of changes. I would think most of that
is normal. If you are concerned about the shortness of breath or rapid
heartbeat, contact your doctor.
@ladyteach0505 : Everyone starts to really feel pregnant at different points.
Hope your u/s goes well on Tuesday.
@nikiswimr : I did not start getting symptoms till I was closer to 6 weeks.
@sarahchrismck : yes thirst will increase, which is good because you need to be
drinking plenty of water. More than normal!
@DDranch & @tiffanylynnn : I have had mild cramping since my BFP. Very
normal. Your body is shifting things.
@smejia2191 : If you are having a lot of issues with keeping food down, contact
your OB. They will prescribe you a medication. Or will give you other advice on
ways that can help. Nothing but medication has helped me so far.
@monkeydilla : I am already down 7-8lbs since BFP. But mine is from inability
to eat and puking. Make sure you are trying to eat a healthy diet. It is very
normal to have minor weight loss in the first trimester.
@AshSturgis : symptoms may come and go. I would try not to read too much into
it all.
@Auburngirl13 : I become a furnace during pregnancy. So right there with you!
@branders74 : all completely normal. My symptoms hit me like a ton of bricks
during my 5th week.

Yup. DS is Tommy Pickles! Nothing like living with an escape artist. Just another cloth diapering, baby wearing mama.
Quesy, bad cramping...it got bad enough my hubby asked if I needed to go to the er but I said no. It had since gotten better but still feeling Quesy especially since my hubby just cooked fish...ugh.
Here is my first post. since no one but my husband knows I'm pregnant at least I can vent to others in my same boat... I am 6 wks and 3 days and the last 4-5 days have been rough. I was sick through my entire last pregnancy and was really hoping and praying it wouldn't be the same this time around. However, we have been trying so hard for so long to get pregnant, I swore I wouldn't complain, no matter how bad it got. Nausea, lethargic, swollen ta ta's, food aversions, excess saliva. Something that has been helping keep food down is eating really slowly, several small meals and having a glass of really cold water at all times. I also have this metallic taste in my mouth that makes things taste weird. This stayed through my last pregnancy and didn't go away and until a couple days after my daughter was born. Other than that, feeling very very blessed that this pregnancy has stuck this long. I've had a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy so I'm cautiously optimistic.
Bloating since the beginning, some random crying, tiredness, crazy dreams, huge sore boobies (especially at night), I was peeing all the time, but that seems to have tapered off. I just started the all-day nausea yesterday, but no throwing up yet, yippee! But misery loves company.. it's nice to know everyone else is suffering, too. The worst part is having to pretend everything is normal with my co-workers and friends.
Nausea has set in this week. I cried st work because I felt crappy and missed my husband. I'm hungry but nothing really sounds too appealing. Sore boobs, and lots of creamy cm still

@christinaholfelder I went to the doctor with the concern of the cramps and basically was told that it is normal and sometimes it happens of your dehydrated or if your doing to much your body is trying to tell you to sit down. As long as it's not unbearable and your not bleeding it's completely normal. Specially for first pregnancies.. After all your body has to make room for the precious gift growing inside
I'm 6wk4days and have few symptoms which for me is frustrating as I'm PgAL. I've been sick this week with a cold and have had some mild waves of nausea so I'm not sure if it's related to the cold I have or if it's MS. Have had some constipation as in usually VERY regular so I know something has been off there. I'm tired but I struggle with fatigue even when not preggo. I have a transvaginal US tomorrow so I'm keeping the faith that all is well.
This is my fourth baby. I am feeling nauseas - but only if I eat something offensive - Chinese food and spaghetti. And coffee (I miss my coffee but I really don't want it). A little crampy. Pretty tired. 6 weeks, 4 days.
I am dealing with the exact same thing! I can hold it back for ages if I have to. I'm having terrible food aversions this time around and they keep changing which is only making the nausea worse. Today, I was able to go out for about 2-3 hours before I had to come back home and take a nap. Hopefully one of the girls here has an answer. I know I feel better when I finally do throw up when I'm sick but this isn't quite the same as a stomach flu. Good luck!
I vomited few days ago, had nausea and warm water tasted like bitter like medicine! Those symtoms are better now cause i firgured that eating a snack before bed helps!
Now i have to get up at least 7 times to pee before falling asleep at bight and i wake up with sore boobs, my heart beats a lil weird sometimes, idk of that's what heartburn is
4th pregnancy and I seem to have forgotten.... Absolutely stuffed. Going to the toilet is a hassle. Massive boobs and tight stomach.! Itchy. Nauseated.!
@christinaholfelder No vomiting, just waves of nausea in the afternoon and evening. It sucks and I know the vomiting is coming. I'm not looking forward to it.
I have had cramps and sore boobs. No emotions. No nausea. At first I felt like I was eating more but now I'm losing weight. My doctor says the pregnancy is healthy as I enter my 8th week but I don't feel pregnant at all. Anybody else?
@bearvangrol I'm the same way. Sleeping 10+ hours a night and taking 2 hours of naps throughout the day. I've read it's normal and to do whatever your body is telling you to do.
7w3days and my boobs hurt so bad! That was my first symptom way back at 4 weeks and it's been constant. Food aversions, nausea but no vomiting, exhausted, peeing all the time, and diarrhea actually. Which has made staying hydrated much harder. I have also had some cramping though it's become much less frequent. At 5+ weeks I had some heavy bleeding with clots, so I'm very thankful for all of these symptoms. Everything looks normal for now, so I'm just praying it stays that way. It was very scary and still is, but I'm staying positive, and having so many symptoms has been encouraging.
So far I am exhausted, my boobs are a little sore and I started having nausea in the morning. A peanut butter sandwich really seems to help my morning nausea if I eat it slow enough. My symptoms have been sooooo much more mild this pregnancy and I am thankful since I have a 20 month old:)
I actually have had more energy/insomnia. Boobs are growing some (woohoo!) but not sore. Not interested in eating in the am but not nauseous, but by 3-4pm I'm starving!!
I'm pretty much there with you. I've had some achy ness but not cramps. No nausea no mood swings, if anything more energy, and not interested in food in the morning but not sick, but by 3-4 pm I'm starving! I didn't have many symptoms with my previous two kids but was very sleepy. I'm going to attribute it to maybe my ginormous horse size pill prenatal vitamins. I think they're really helping my energy and health.
I'm pretty early (4w 2d) but my sleep has been horrible! I'm getting only a few hours a night, if that! I don't get it because I'm so pooped that I should be immediately snoring as soon as my head touches the pillow!
Quesy, bad cramping...it got bad enough my hubby asked if I needed to go to the er but I said no. It had since gotten better but still feeling Quesy especially since my hubby just cooked fish...ugh.
5 1/2 weeks: severe constipation, bloating, cramps, sudden nausea when hungry, up several times at night to use the bathroom, fatigue started yesterday (I almost feel light-headed). Aversion to food at night. Side of boobs starting to ache.
Anyone else feel like they've lost all enjoyment of food? Ever since week 6 started, I have been completely uninterested in food I previously loved. I still get hungry so I force myself to eat, but nothing tastes right or enjoyable. :-(
@mrsswall10 : Welcome and congratulations. We have a PgAL
check-in each week if you would like to join in. Sorry for your previous
losses.
@christinaholfelder : getting full quick and wanting to eat more often is very
normal. Most OBs recommend 5 smaller meals rather than 3 large meal. Your ache
and nausea is very normal. It hits women at different times of the day. Morning
sickness is not limited to morning. Sorry you have experienced loss. You are
also more than welcome to join in our weekly PgAL (pregnant after loss) check-in.
@bearvangrol : VERY NORMAL. My first pregnancy I was in bed by 7pm every night.
Mind you I had a very tiring job, but man all I wanted to do was pass out. Last
one and this one. I pretty much rest all day.
@shmeell25 : Hope you start feeling better. Being sick on top of m/s sucks!
@krystiReif : I was so happy after my DS was born because I could FINALLY enjoy
food again. I am a foodie and it sucked to no be able to eat and have major
food aversions for 9 months. Sadly, it seems to be going to same way this time
around. Hope it gets better for you!

I'm 5w 6d. I had nausea a couple of days earlier this week, thankfully that has gone away for the moment. I'm gassy, bloated, SUPER crampy, and beyond exhausted. My emotions have shown themselves a time or two also. My patience with my 2.5yr old is dwindling :-/ I've also been waking up at night to pee and then having trouble going back to sleep.
