What's your fav snacks?

I'm bored and hungry. Plus it's lunch time. So why not?

What's your fav snacks? Bonus points if it's homemade and has a recipe link!

Re: What's your fav snacks?

  • Chocolate covered cheesecake bites (totally meant for dessert but, who cares?)

    Veggies, cheese and hummus

Lays chips and French onion dip. Dip me in the dip.

    Mickey D's fries

A bagel smothered in cream cheese. Preferably strawberry.

Glazed donuts. Boy, if there were a Krispy kreme's around here anymore, they would know my name. But they got rid of the downtown one
    :((

  • This is making me want to eat all the foods!

    I love chips and salsa
    M & m's
    Chocolate peanut butter granola bars
    Nutrigrain bars
Chocolate milkshakes (obsessed with the ones from steak n shake)
    Pretzels with peanut butter

@jensavicci‌ that sucks about the Krispy! There's one a mile from me and I swear they are the most amazing things. Especially when they pull them off the conveyor fresh and they melt in your mouth.
  • @jensavicci‌ I feel your pain--they closed the Krispy Kreme by me too :(. The only one I know of now is in Penn Station in the city which is soooo far.

  • I haven't had a Krispy Kreme doughnut since I was ten. I lived in NM. I live in a rural town in Oklahoma, and if you live outside OKC or Tulsa, the hell you're gonna find a Krispy Kreme.

  • Toast with peanut butter, it melts beautifully when hot from the toaster. Then add some honey, a banana too and it's so delish.

Yes! Thee best thing evaaaaaa! My friend introduced that to me a few years ago and I had an addiction. With bananas? Omg.

I wish there was no Krispy Kreme around where I live! Be thankful! They are so delicious and at the same time disgustingly fattening...I can never stop at one! It is the only sweet that genuinely makes me sick...probably because I eat at least 6 at a time!

  • I go through snack phases, but as of recent....
Popcorn...salted, kettle corn, cinnamon & vanilla.
Peanut Butter...the Peanut Butter & Co. Brand, specifically "the Bees Knees".
    Apples.
And GTs Kombucha for a drink.
Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream...I need to stay away from that!

  • My thinking is - if it's food, it's a snack. I'll eat just about anything.

My latest favourite is cinnamon covered almonds or corn chips smothered in cheese and microwaved until it's melty. Also a big fan of anything I can dip into hummus or peanut butter or melted chocolate or melted cheese. Sweet chilli pita chips (Sam's Club do huge bags). Banana sticks (melt the dark chocolate, peel and snap the bananas in half, shove a popsicle stick up the banana, roll the banana in the chocolate and dip the chocolatey banana in shredded coconut or chopped nuts then put them on a foil-covered tray in the freezer for a couple of hours). Tea (English breakfast hot with milk and sugar) with bread dipped in (crusty outside, soft white inside is the best) or that same bread dipped in a mix of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Oooh, or goat cheese cubes with apple or pear cubes and nuts, drizzled with honey - I just eat it with a spoon. Or thinly sliced garlic bread, toasted and dipped into molten smoky paprika mozarella. I could keep going but I'm hungry now.

    I am a dieter's worst nightmare, I'm sorry :p
