We have successfully started giving DD2 cow's milk.  She is 100% drinking milk.  Her doctor gave us permission to start weaning when I told her i was running out of frozen breast milk and she said it was ok because she knew we wanted to avoid spending an arm and a leg for formula when she would only have to use it for a month and a half.

My confession is that we don't give her whole milk, we give her 2%.  We did that with our oldest and will continue.  We are a 2% house hold and with the insane price of milk around here I don't feel like keeping and buying two types of milk for our house.

My FFFC is a little lame. I was venting to a close friend about money. DH tried to transition out of retail management but ended up going back -- so our income has been fluctuating a lot and I don't like the insecurity. My next series of texts to her was a picture of a didymos wrap and the caption "i need dis". I guess it would be a better confession if I ended up buying it, but I didn't.

I have a deactivated FB from my teen/younger adult days and I will activate it sometimes to creep on persons of interest.  Seriously never told anyone that before, ha ha.  FFFC is I was creeping last night and got jealous because some are taking vacations, partying, socializing etc etc.  I feel very lucky to have the life I have and a beautiful family of my own but damn, just kind of hit me hard and brought me back to when I could do almost anything I wanted.

All I got is I was late for work this morning and saw my boss going down our hallway (we are in a high school) so I was trying to walk really slow so she did not see me and she took like 3 minutes opening her door so I walked by once and then stopped and turned then went back the other way (still there) then walked back and stopped etc.  A teacher saw me and started yelling "hey", "are you okay, are you lost?"  "your office is this hall".  I looked at him and smiled and went to my office and shut the door.  So I sat here thinking of a lie to tell him to explain my behavior and went out and said , Oh I was trying to dodge a student that wanted to talk, I have a lot of notes to catch up on.  He said ohhhhh I thought you were just losing it today.

Soooo apparently it is better in my mind to look like I am ignoring kids here at my job for counseling versus being late.  But he bought it.
