2nd Trimester

Anyone impatient?

I am 25 weeks and 2 days. I've been impatient for about two weeks now with everything. I want my baby out already, I want my own place again because the buying a house process is taking too long. I want to spend every penny I have on our daughter. I feel impatient with everything my husband does. I want school to be over.
Anyone Else!?

Re: Anyone impatient?

  • I am impatient since my husband has been away for 8.5 weeks and I wont see him for another 3.5 weeks and I maybe get to talk to him for 10 minutes every 7-10 days.

  • I'm impatient to have the room painted and floors refinished. That's about it.

Im so sorry for your loss.  Tell little miss to stay put!
  • Definitely want this baby to make it to my 39 week csec but part of me would like to just get the surgery over so I understand the desire to fast forward time but I really am enjoying this pregnancy all the little wiggles. This will be my last pregnancy in all likelihood so I want to relish every second (now that I am not miserably ill).
  • Every pregnancy is different and I have not had a pleasant one. I had two miscarriages before this and I don't want a a fully developed baby. Trust me. I could use a fast forward though is what I meant. I needed reassurance and someone to be helpe vent but I didn't get that. Thanks for the responses anyways.

  • maybe she means with the miscarriages she saw how developed the baby was? Little miss can stay in and marinate as long as she needs to but I am so excited about holding her for the first time! :)

You don't want a fully developed baby? Huh.

    Yeah, this.
  • I was suppose to say I do* want a fully developed!
  • Thank you to those who caught my error and I being nice.
  • I can agree with you on the fast forward. I definitely want DD to stay cooking until 40 weeks but I'm ready for that 40th week to get here, even though I know it will be complete chaos once she's born since I already have a toddler. I just can't wait to meet her and have my family be complete. For what it's worth, I never missed being pregnant after DS was born bc I was so glad to be able to get to know him, but I understand it is very common for some women to miss being pregnant.

  • Yes! I am 25 weeks today I up til now I was just preparing and still coming to terms of being pregnant (don't twist what I said around, my husband and I are extremely happy but it was very unexpected since we got married March 7th and got pregnant sometime in early April) However, now that the nursury is finished and we pretty much have all the nessesities I am super anxious and can't wait to meet her!!
  • I'm trying to get where you are coming from but I just can't. I want my baby to stay in there for 40 weeks and wish for it every single day. 40 healthy weeks no matter how uncomfortable it is for me.

Maybe what you mean is you are a ready for the due date to get here so you can meet LO?

House shopping is a pain. I am glad we checked that off years before ttc because it took so much effort to find, buy, then make our house feel like home. We repainted every room, we built built-ins, painted trim, then $$$ on new furniture... omg we have done so much. So glad that is behind us so I understand how looming it would feel.

The one thing I do feel impatient about is the nursery. I love decorating and have everything planned out... but we have to wait several months until after showers (Dec) to piece it all together. Not because we are relying on others to foot the bill, but we are going to take advantage of the 20% amazon registry completion discount and we know our families really want to get things for LO. But ultimately I know the nursery is much more for me to show off than for the baby - he or she won't even sleep in there for quite some time. So if we had nothing done by the birth day, then it would really be fine too.
