@Rcvb22 girl!! That is an amazing #!!! I've never had any make it to freeze. I hope I have your kind of success this round! I'll be looking for your updates on Monday!! Congrats!!
Stupid question? Did you wear deodorant for ET??? I know they said no lotions or perfumes because the eggs don't like scents but my deodorant is scented.
Stupid question? Did you wear deodorant for ET??? I know they said no lotions or perfumes because the eggs don't like scents but my deodorant is scented.
I asked today and the nurse told me deodorant was fine, as long as it was not a strong scent.

So much to catch up on. Most of us are on a roll now!!
Congrats to everyone PUPO. Can't wait to start seeing the beta (or POAS) results roll in.
To everyone doing ER/ET in the next couple days, good luck and big hugs.
AFM, I had my CD9 scan yesterday and I must say that I was kinda sorta maybe a little bit thrilled with the results... The RE kept saying "Amazing. Wow, this is amazing". He even asked me what I did different this month because the results are so much different than last month on the exact same dose of medication so far. And I was like... "It's called DETERMINATION doc!!!"
So on the left ovary he measured 5 follicles at 14, 14, 13, 13, 13mm and there were a couple more small ones that he didn't measure.
On the right ovary he also measured the 5 biggest ones at 13, 13, 13. 12, 11mm and didn't bother to measure the smaller ones. Said they may or may not catch up before ER.
Oh and my lining was at 6.9mm
I also found out what the extra 3 days worth of Femara is for. He said it's just to keep sustaining the follicles as we "lost" 2 last month between the last scan and ER.
I scan again late tomorrow afternoon and ER is tentatively set for Sunday morning.
@viola27 that is the exact reason why I haven't told anyone about us going through IUIs and now IVF. I have wanted. About 6 weeks ago we were with DH's family and I wanted to tell them. It would feel good to have our family know what we are going through and it would be great to get a bit of emotional support. But DH didn't want to and I'm so glad we didn't. Last cycle was another BFN and I was devastated. Would not have wanted to pile on the calls and the "oh it will happen" statements.
Congrats to all the PUPO! And all the ER - rest up!
AFM:
POAS vs. beta or bust...... All my past cycles except my last one I POAS. With the last one I was beta or bust and I definitely feel like it was much harder to hear the BFN. I was devasted. This time around I will go back to POAS so I can begin to mentally prepare myself.
1 week in of estrace and going for bw and us this morning to see how I'm progressing for my FET. Excited and feel like I want to get this show on the road!

I am 5dp5dt and am having some spotting. (sorry for TMI) The discharge is light brown and some waxy type mucus. I also had some cramping last night as well as a wave of dizzyness. I have called the clinic, waiting for the nurse to call me back.
I usually spot like this the day before AF! Could this just be implantation bleeding??
@HCAMP123 are you on PIO or suppositories? Sometimes you can spot because of suppositories irritating your cervix, sometimes you can spot for no good reason. FX, it's not a bad sign.
Also, I'm on PIO and haven't even had my transfer yet but I've been having horrible cramps. The progesterone can cause you to cramp like that.
Congrats to everyone on their ER/ETs yesterday. It was a busy day for the sweet peas. Hoping to hear about lots of great reports soon!

There were 2 lines on my pee stick this morning. YAY!!!!!! It is 7dp6dt. Considering last month, I'm very hesitant to have any expectations, but I know this is a good first step. Beta on Saturday.

IVF #1 3/2014 - cancelled (early ovulation)
IVF #1.2 ER 5/16/14: 23R 18F - freeze all (12) due to concern for late onset OHSS
FET #1 in June - delayed due to thin lining, 7/18 SET (7.5 mm lining) resulted in chemical pregnancy
FET #2 in Sept - 9/4 transferred 2 CCS tested embryos (6.5mm lining)
9/13 beta #1 - 400, 9/15 beta #2 - 950, U/S 9/22 one gestational/yolk sac - next up 9/29
@gnl42 - omg! Congrats on those two lines!! I'm only 3dp5dt but I'm thinking of doing a wondfo tomorrow. I'm already telling myself I can't freak out of it's negative though because it's so early. Fx for you on a high beta!
Me: 32 DH: 37 Married July 2012, TTC since July, 2012 April, 2012: DH undergoes vasectomy reversal October, 2012: DH SA: great count, slightly low motility February, 2013: first consultation with RE, all test normal, unexplained infertility September, 2014: First IVF 1 embie transferred- BFN- but 9 little frosties waiting November, 2014- First FET 2 embies transferred- BFN
March, 2015- Second FET 3 embies transferred- SUCCESS! EDD- 11/25/15
I got a very faint line 2 days ago. 5dp5dt. I posted the day before about not getting a line and freaking out. I knew I should have waited. I took another..well actually I have taken 3 more FRER since and still says I am pregnant. The line isn't that dark on any of them, but it is coming up faster. I'd love to say that I am elated, but getting pregnant was never the issue...staying pregnant is. I am having some light brown discharge (tmi) when I put in the progesterone suppositories. Praying its just cervical irritation and not a repeat performance of m/c#1. That being said, to quote my doctor...cautiously optimistic!

Me: 33
DH: 39
TTC: 4 years.
Me: PCOS. Polyps.
DH: Low morphology and motility.
TTC naturally - 1yr.
4 IUI with metformin - All BFN.
Changed ER.
IVF # 1 - 6 blasts made it to freeze. Transferred 1 fresh blast. Low first beta, but rose appropriately. Bean made it and we heard Heartbeat!! Sadly Bean couldn't hold on. Heartbroken. M/C.
FET # 2 - 2 beautiful blasts transferred. 1st beta - 74. #'s rose appropriately. Ultrasound found Sac and fetal pole! Sadly bean couldn't hang on. M/C. Devastated.
One frosty left.
IVF#2 - ER Scheduled for November. We will be doing PGD. Transfer most likely JAN 2015.
Just got the call that we have nothing to freeze. 27eggs- 21 made it to day 3 - 8 made it to day 5 and today (day 6) even though there are 3 blasts, they're not good enough. I know we were lucky to have as many as we did, and that most people don't get to freeze... but I'm still really sad that we don't have any kind of back-up. I wish they didn't tell you until you got your results, because although I was feeling positive, this really dragged me down today. I feel like it put more pressure on me and on this one little blast inside me.

IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
IVF#1- Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.

Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October
@viola27 12dpo is the earliest I ever tested. I think 10 dpo is ok to start, but just keep in mind that it very well could be too early when you are interpreting the result.
I'm not sure if any time before beta is really 'safe'?!
@Jzyla I agree - you have every right to be disappointed. It is always hardest when you get your hopes up for something. I'm sorry that you don't have anything to freeze, but I really hope that the little blast inside you will make it.

also, and many of you may already know this, but the dollar store pregnancy tests (dollar tree for example) work just as well as the $12+ tests. I know sometimes it's too soon to test, and we don't want to drive ourselves crazy by POAS every hour, but just wanted to make sure you ladies knew
@gnl42 and @CRMHoney, congrats on the BFP, and FX'ed for excellent Beta.
@jzyla, I am so sorry there are none to freeze, but your retrieval number was good. I am worried I wont have any to freeze either. I am on low dosage of Bravelle and Menopur and my E2 yesterday, Day 8 of Stimming was 465 with 6 measurable follies ranging from 18-15. I am worried I wont have any fertilize or reach blasts.
Thanks for the support guys. I feel selfish being sad about nothing to freeze when I actually got one really good day 5 blast (and others haven't) but I appreciate the permission to be disappointed. I'm thinking it may be the Estrace emotions too, because I've also been super anxious/depressed about little coughs or stretches that I know logically will do no harm, but the hormones/emotions are getting the best of me.
@fjamil1 I can understand your worries! Prior to this, when I was still stimming, it helped me to think that I don't need anything to freeze - just one good embryo to implant. Freezies are were going to be a 'bonus' for me. Of course, now I'm the one complaining... but it helped at the time! Hope you can stay calm and focused!

Another update for me ...... I'm PUPO!!! Both of my popsicles thawed out beautiful and are now inside of me. We had a talk, I told them if they hanged on tight, they would get a pony from their aunt. :-) Also I had an unknown that was thawed and they let it grow a little bit and got another biopsy and it's going to be refrozen and retested. Beta is 9-19, but I'm sure I'll start POAS tomorrow.
