This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF/IVM or FET with an ER/ET scheduled for September. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle below.  Please include what cycle number this is for you, where you are in the process, when you expect to start stims, and when you're planning on retrieval and transfer.  (Also, please update us along the way!)

I got nothing new...   I just wanted to say hi to our huge group of 62 Sweet Peas!

QOTD:  I have always wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise.  I may be able to afford it some day. So if money is taken out of the picture, I would have to say Australia.  Australia has great beaches and wildlife areas.

Good Morning everyone.  Not much to report.  On day 4 of stims.  Went for bw yesterday and they increased my follistim to 75 units.  I have more bw and us tomorrow.

Hello there!! Big shout out to my partner @ChristieH917‌ for updating this huge group last night!!! She is a updating goddess!!

Everyone is moving along and I'm looking forward to seeing some updated today!!

AFM: nothing much going on now. I'll start my action with the dreaded lupron on Friday as long as my bw is clear!!

QOTD: the pic I posted in the checkin is from my Scotland trip. It was on my bucket list and I was lucky to go. I want to go to India for the holi festival and the painted elephants. I also want to go to see the northern lights. Both look amazing!!

Good morning!! I've been keeping up with our check ins, and thinking about all of you! Sending lots of positive energy/thoughts your way.

I triggered on Sunday! Going in for ER in an hour and a bit. I kept having dreams that I ate and drank past midnight. Haha! Don't know why I got up so early, can't eat still!

Qotd: I would do a luxurious European adventure. I've done parts if Europe the hostel way, and it was nice and wonderful. I'd love to enjoy Europe on an unlimited budget though!

AFM- started PIO Sunday. Man, those shots are no joke. Tomorrow is last blood work to see if the estrace knocked up my blood estradiol any higher. I am so hopeful we can still move forward with transfer Friday.

Should I not be concerned there will not be any more lining checks before transfer? My lining was 8.4 Friday and I'm terrified it will go down for some reason. I know. I'm crazy. Is it Friday yet?

I forgot the QOTD! I would love to go to the Maldives.

Good morning, from pre-sunrise LA! I cannot sleep. Drugs and stress, yo. 

I'm on my 4 patches EOD, Estrace 2xday, lovenox, baby aspirin, PIO. I just finished the doxy and the medrol, and they took me off the Endometrin and bumped my PIO up to 1ml/day, since the suppositories were causing pretty significant cramping.

Can we talk for a second about progesterone-induced hunger? Because it is real, it is epic, and it is coming for everything in your pantry. Imma go full-on Pac Man up in here before this over. 

My transfer is tomorrow. ZOMG. My transfer is tomorrow, at 11:15am CO time. We're getting on a plane at 6pm today to fly to Denver. 

QOTD: Oh, this is almost impossible for me to answer. I want to go so many places. I want to visit the Seychelles, the Maldives, and pretty much every island in French Polynesia. I want to go to Patagonia. I also would love to do a grand european tour. My current obsession is visiting the Christmas Markets along the Danube, in December. If this transfer doesn't take, that actually might happen. DH and I have discussed it at length. I would love to go to Japan, and if money is no object, I'll take a private tour guide, please and thank you.

@meld42 good luck today! Prayers for everyone doing ER or ET this week and to my ER buddy @emmuffy

I triggered last night and my ER is tomorrow morning! Excited and nervous! At my appt yesterday they said I have 11 follicles that are a good size (up from 5 on Friday) and some other smaller ones. I'm thankful it's more than it was looking like last week but it's not as many as I thought we'd get based on a lot of posts I see here so praying most of them are mature and fertilize! We are really hoping for a 5dt.

QOTD: Would love to do an Australia and New Zealand trip with Fiji throw in there too since they are all fairly close to each other and a nice balance of sightseeing and beaches!

Hello Sweet Peas!

Congrats to all of the PUPOs!  ((Hugs)) to all who need one! 

I had my B/W and U/S yesterday. Unfortunately I received a voicemail from my clinic, and she did not leave the specifics.  All she said was everything was good and I will have my transfer on Monday.  I am hoping to hear from my coordinator today with more specifics.  The ultrasound tech stated my lining was a 6. I am not sure if this is good or what that means? I end Lupron on Thursday and start PIO on Friday. A little nervous about the shot, but I will survive!

QOTD - Greece! My grandfather was from Greece, but he died when my father was little so I would like to find out more info about our family!

Welcome to those who joined since last check in. We are still growing! GL to everyone with upcoming ERs/ETs this week. I'll be thinking of you! It is nice to see everyone making progress.

@marianass I'm so sorry. I hope you can try again next month and that it will be the one for you. We all know how difficult this must be. Hang in there.

I'm 5dp6dt and still trying my best to stay sane. One moment I'm elated at the idea that this may have worked and the next I'm preparing for devastation and expecting it not to. I'm holding out to POAS until 7dp6dt and beta is on Saturday 9dp6dt. Who else is going to POAS this week? @CRMhoney 4dp5dt is most likely too early. Try not to read too much into it. 

QOTD: I often forget these, but this question is so up my alley. We love, love, love to travel and have been lucky to go to many of the places above. Travel is one of the reasons we waited to have children (sigh). Africa is still on the list. I would love to do a luxury safari and then go to a remote island/beach resort afterwards.

I'm PUPO!! Just leaving our transfer. We had 12 fertilize. Today we have 6 high quality blasts. But the remaining 6 are doing well and maybe be blasts tomorrow. The dr said he hasn't seen results like that in a while. It was a long 5 days waiting to hear how they were doing!

We transferred two, so FX at least one snuggles in! So now, I guess I just have to relax, and wait.

@ky29‌ congrats! Sounds like your cycle went really well. AFM I'm having my ER tomorrow! Can't believe it's almost here! I came down with a nasty bug yesterday and had a fever, but thankfully it seems to be going down and the RE says it won't interfere with the ER. (Thank God, because that would just be infuriating). Good luck to all my fellow sweet peas and hugs to those who need them

@emilee871  I only have on ovary to work with as well.  I was happy with the 4 follicles that I got back in June, but my RE is pushing for more.  

@cwoodward777  My grandfather is also from Greece.  He moved to the United States when he was 4 years old.

Good morning!

My transfer is tomorrow!  I am patiently (not really) waiting to hear from my doctor on what time I will need to be at the office.  As of yesterday we had 10 (out of 11 fertilized) still doing well.  I won't get grades until tomorrow.

QOTD - there are so many places that I want to visit!  I think Australia would be at the top of that list.  Fiji and Tahita are up there too!

@hollowberry, I went to target for moisturizer yesterday, and came home with like $35 worth of snacks. I regret nothing. I feel ya on the peeing and the cramping, too.

Still stimming along here.  On day 5 tonight.  My estrogen level yesterday was 84, which I guess is ok, they changed me from 375 GonalF to 300 and added menopur 150 u.  Seems like a lot to me but this is a first round for me, so I guess we will find out.  Was feeling down yesterday, I think the hormones are hitting me.  Opened Facebook to baby boom 2014.  Closed it quickly.  Called my best friend for some venting, but she was much too distracted by her own marital problems.  Sigh.  And today I have to go to the dentist.  Wahhh.  Hopefully today is better, despite the dentist.

@airidh80‌ I'm glad it's not just me I'm starving all the time. I've been trying so hard to lose weight but this progesterone is making it impossible about right now.

FX for everyone else, this group is so big it's hard to keep up with everyone.

AFM: I'm having a freak out moment, I can't find my paperwork that I wrote everything down on about when to start everything. I think I'm starting Medrol and zPack tonight for FET Thursday. Then I opened the paperwork that I'm bringing to the clinic Thursday and under meds taking it list lupron. My calendar says stop lupron when you start progesterone. I'm so confused!!!! I put a call into my nurse for clarification. I also saw on the paperwork that they are giving me 10mg of Valium right before transfer. Holy crap that's a lot!!! I take Valium once in a while for my Ménière's but my rx is 2mg and I usually only take 1/4 - 1/2 of a pill because it makes me so loopy. I'm going to be really loopy.

I have an appt in the morning for another lining check and more blood work. I can't believe I'm almost here. I started IVF#1 on 5-3 and I'm coming to the end. Yeap, I'm freaking the fuck out!!!! I'm going to definitely need that Valium Thursday.


QOTW: France. My family is from 2 different parts of France northern and southern, and I'd love to go visit and drink lots of wine and eat lots of cheese.

@Rcvb22  My family was the same way.  We have some traditions that we follow, but for the most part they wanted us to be american as well.  He never even taught my mom or us grandkids how to speak in greek.  I call my grandma Yiayia!

@Rcvb22 & @ChristieH917 - My grandfather came to America when he was in his 30's, and when he married my grandma he wanted his kids to be as American as possible.  He sadly my grandpa died when my father was 4 years old and my grandma died when my father was 6 years old, so we do not know much about grandpa or his traditions.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers! Despite a crappy reaction to the anesthesia, all went well! I broke out into a cold sweat with nausea in the recovery room. I stripped down and held my head in a bucket until I felt better! Hanging out with my pups and recorded episodes of Gilmore girls!

Anxiously awaiting fert report! Good luck tomorrow @turquoisequeen‌ !!! Thinking of all the sweet peas!

AFM: had U/S and BW yesterday for Day 5 of Stims. They have six measurable Follies in the 10-11 range, but a lot of small one. E2 was 274. I am on 75 IU of Bravelle and Menopur, and they said to keep the dosage the same. Starting Cetrotide today, and have another monitoring appt tomorrow. retreival is sometime next week. 

QOTD: I would love to go on World Tour on a cruise.

AFM: If you recall from last week DH is thinking about pulling the plug before we even start... So we meet with Father Jerry tonight and we shall she what he says. I wrote DH a letter explaining how I feel the timing is borderline cruel...I waited over 1.5 years for him to be ready to try this way, we've had numerous people working to make this come true (genetic team getting sequencing done, the PGD lab working to create a new probe for us, etc). He understood and gets why I'm upset.  Basically it possibly comes down to one of us resenting the other one for doing (or not doing in my case) something we aren't comfortable with.  So we will see how this meeting goes down.

I had my ER yesterday and feel like crap today.  Fortunately, it does not appear to be OHSS and my doc recommended taking more valium, and eating salty Chinese food.  I think I can get behind that rec.  ;-)

They recovered 13 but only 5 were mature.  The good news is that all 5 fertilized.  Hopefully they all hold on and we can do a 3dt of 3 embies on Thursday.

This is such a large group and I bump on my iPad which makes it's hard to respond to everyone. Hugs to those who need them!

I am day 5 of lupron (tonight). Knock on wood, it's been good so far. I have no side effects. I can't wait to start AF so I can have my baseline. Woohoo! I am getting excited.

I'd love to visit, the Maldives, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Seychelles, and Jade Mountain in St. Lucia.

Hi everyone - I can't possibly keep up on all of the updates, but I hope you all know I wish you the best and I'm sending hugs to anyone who needs it!   :x

I'm just counting down the hours & minutes until our 5DT Wednesday around 11am. I've never made it to 5 days before and we're so excited - but also, like everyone, a little nervous. In addition, DH and I are driving 3.5 hours tonight for the transfer tomorrow and because he has to work the next day, he's leaving me in a hotel overnight and I'll drive myself home Thursday. Hopefully netflix and magazines will keep my mind & body at peace!

QOTD: I've wanted to go to Rome to see the Sistine Chapel ever since I studied Art History (I'm not even Catholic). But I also LOVE the idea of Fiji and Bora Bora, like others have mentioned! With IVF OOP, I know we won't even get a hot holiday this year (or maybe ever again, lol) so google image searches will be my travel plans for now!

AFM- on day 5 of stims. Had u/s and b/w this morning. Had 4 follies ranging from 10-12 and 9 smaller ones. Sticking with the 150iu bravelle at nights but adding 75iu menopur in the mornings and starting ganirelix tomorrow night. Seems like everything is moving along ok!

@siempre595 looks like we are stimming buddies! Tonight will be day 5 for me too. GL!

@hollowberry -- we are holding out to POAS until SUNDAY!!  Torture!! The Beta isn't until Monday (fresh equivalent of 13dp5dt).  FX for your results on Thursday and Friday.  My butt is really starting to be overall sore from all the shots.  It was holding up pretty well in the beginning.  The extra junk in my trunk was helping. 

AFM:  I'm in 2ww hell.  I am crampy, tired, hungry and had some minor bleeding this morning.  It's totally messing with my head since things are happening about the same way as with my previous pregnancy (which result in a MC).


QOTD -- I would go to the Maldives like @sweetpotato12.

AFM I had baseline BW/US this am-- we're "off to the races" per my RE! BUT I have to wait til Saturday to start stims, to keep us all on the same schedule. :-?? I guess there's a lot of Sweet Peas in my office too! More damn lupron...

@Rcvb22 I'm doing Freeze all for PGD, and I asked today when the FET would be, and I was told 6 wks. I was thinking it would be sooner, as PGD results only take ~2 wks...but, November it is!

QOTD- Fiji, bora bora or anywhere with the over-the-water bungalows and sun! Dream vacay!

It's great to see all of the updates! I am patiently waiting for my ET on Thursday! It seems like my Dr does not use valium for the ET(I am going to as the nurse tomorrow)... Is the norm to use valium or not?

@marssa6609 My re doesn't use it... but from what I hear it can be common.
