I am awake at 4:30am after another loss dream.

So there I was, at 4:30 in the morning, listening to my baby on the Doppler. All is well in there although I bet baby wishes I would fart or poop to give him some more space.

I'm going back to bed. Goodnight.

I just woke up to pee and pass gas (and feed the asshole cats); I'm sure kiddo is thrilled at the extra space.

Going today to visit my old friend who is hospitalized on bed rest. She is six weeks into what will hopefully be at least 12 weeks in bed. (She's 29 weeks with twins). My old group of high school friends put together the most amazing care package and I can't wait to give it to her!

I fell asleep very early and now am just up...my asshole dog decided after I fed her and pet her and gave her a treat to squat and pee right in front of me. She knows she was about to go out. She's been spite peeing for a few days and acting strange. I think she knows I'm pregnant.

I love Harry Potter! Like love, read every book at least 5 times and have seen every movie as many. My hubs last night saw a deal on iTunes for the movie bundle all extended versions (I don't own many movies and have wanted these for a long time) and bought them for me! So it's 7am on a Saturday and I'm snuggled up on my couch with my big winter blanket watching my Harry Potter movies while the rest of the house is asleep. I massively cannot wait to read the books to Appleseed!

My husband baked the most amazing chocolate chip and pecan cookies last night, just cause. This is the 2nd time throughout our entire relationship that he has even stepped foot in the kitchen to make something other than a sandwich and now he is 2/2 on the delicious meter. What.the.fuck!?!? What else does he know how to make!? Obviously he is holding out on me.

I decided to get a Brazilian wax yesterday. It's been a couple of months. I was getting them regularly but we had moved so I was far from the salon I went to. I went yesterday because I just felt gross....fucking OUCH!!!! I read that it hurts more when pregnant because your skin is more sensitive, soooooo true! It burned the rest of the day but I woke up today feeling much better thankfully!! Sorry to gross everyone out this early in the morning.

Finally caught up on everything here from the last few days...it's so hard to keep up during the week when I'm at work and all I can do is read. I never have time to comment on anything.

There is a huge children's consignment event in town this week, and expectant mothers get in this afternoon before the general public get in tomorrow...I am so going and buying ALL the maternity clothes!

So after our scan yesterday we started telling more people, just still family. My cousin and I grew up together and are super close, but I hadn't even told her yet. I talked to her last night and told her, and she literally squealed and screamed and was so happy. It was so sweet it made me tear up!! She's already trying to plan coming down on her spring break to be here when (maybe) the baby comes! Made me excited to tell more people. Also told my boss which it was so dreading and she was excited too! Big hugs and immediately trying to help me figure out how to take my maternity leave!

I came home from work yesterday to home made chicken chowder soup and cheese bread. Best husband ever! Also I was up at the ass crack of dawn for another joy filled 12 hour shift in the icu. I can't wait to go back to bed.

The damn asshole trash men woke all of us up when we were in a deep sleep. My kids usually get up at 6:00 or so and I was the first to wake up to dumpsters banging right outside our window and the loud whirring of the truck, and I was just hoping they somehow wouldn't wake my kids up. Nope, after a few more bangs of the dumpster my kids shot up and were asking over and over what that was and now they want to play. I barely slept all week and was hoping I'd get extra sleep somehow today, but apparently that was too much to ask for. So once again, I wake up in a shitty mood. And it's rainy so idk what we're even going to do today..

My H just went to get me Dunkin Donuts. He's bringing me back a few chocolate frosted. I'm so flippin' excited!

And I think tomorrow we're taking DD apple picking which I'm thrilled for. I think she'll really like it, they even have some goats you can feed and a few other fun activities for kids. Plus they sell the most amazing cider donuts made fresh right there....ok, I have to stop thinking with my stomach!

@MissyCee‌ I miss Dunkin Donuts so much now that I moved back to the South, even though I have Krispy Kreme now. Have fun apple picking! We have an apple festival here in October and I am counting down the days!

@katydid2014 Thanks for sharing that pillow! I had been looking on Amazon for Boppy alternatives -- but I didn't see the LL pillow. I was going to get the Dr. Brown's Gia pillow even though it seems like you'd have to re-position pillow AND baby every time you switch sides. The LL pillow looks *perfect* for all nursing positions.

Today I get shit done! It's time for me to open windows and clean so I can begin the nesting process. It's going to take all day to get done what I need to accomplish. Last night when I got home from work my SO needed some cash to go up to the grocery store so I gave him some. He came back with frozen dinners, a six pack, and a pint of gin. My talk about his drinking is on hold until he comes home from work today sober. I was a little upset about the gin and I was right to be. He ended up getting angry at little things as he drank and I kept my mouth shut to not start a fight. I hope our talk this afternoon goes smooth. I'll update later.

Gah, I am so behind. Work has been busy this week and I have had no time to post. I'm slowly getting caught up. Congrats to everyone who had wonderful appointments yesterday! 

Add me to the list of great NT scans from yesterday. The baby was cooperating at first so the tech could get all the measurements. Everything measured perfect. Then it started wiggling around and at one point looked like it was on its head. Kinda funny, but uncomfortable looking. The tech had a guess on sex, but I didn't want to know. Too early at 12w. I'll wait for the A/S. My blood work should be back in about a week. 

@chaysefaith When did you change your name? I did a double take when I first saw it because I recognized your avatar but the name was so different!

heh I got a brazilian a week before I delivered my son....best decision I made.  I didn't think it hurt anymore than it normally does but my pain tolerance is kind of effed - I started giving myself my own brazilians at age 17.

No itching or maintenance for weeks while everything was 'angry' looking down there.  

Totally doing it again this time around.

Yep, agree. I tell all my expectant mom friends to make sure to get a wax a week or two before they're due date. Hair down there + stitches = not good.

I really want to do this, but I've never had a wax of any kind so I feel kinda nervous about doing it because of the pain plus I'm a lil bashful and not sure how I feel about having someone down there to wax. I know they are professional and see it all the time so I guess I need to get over it.

We are still working on potty training here. I swear, as long as he is naked it's fine. But it's getting cold and he can't leave the house like that! I hope it clicks fully soon. Reminding him or having set times has never worked. But being naked does. He was watching TV this morning and ran to the bathroom all on his own to pee. Then as he was washing his hands, he yelled "poop" and went and sat back down and pooped. I will be so excited if he gets this down by his birthday at the end of the month.

In non potty news, we are getting closer on a name. Dan is still dragging his feet. But we're closer. he has a firm deadline of a week from Tuesday, but knows I wanted a name last week. I'm suspecting he's going to take the whole time. Why can't he just agree to my first choice and be done!

I go for sugaring instead of waxing. I find that it's just as effective, but a lot less painful. I've been going regularly for years and intend on continuing through pregnancy!
