I don't like thunderstorms. Brought to you by sleep deprived me due to the three incredibly loud thunderstorms that rolled through early this morning complete with tornado sirens. However the tornado was Doppler indicated and 30 miles south of us, and we got the sirens due to technical reasons. I'm tired....

I think it's totally fine, normal even, to be excited for your kids to be in school so you can do things alone.
Brought on because of the side eyes I got from a few kindergarten parents the other day when I said I was excited for my babies to start preschool. Don't get me wrong, I'll cry like baby at drop off the first day, it's a BIG day! But that doesn't mean I won't enjoy my 5 hours of freedom a week!!
I don't believe people half the time they say others judged them for something. I think most people just have mommy guilt and make themselves feel better by assuming other are judging.

I also don't think anyone who noticed a judgmental glare is someone insecure ridden with mommy guilt. Heck, I have days where I'm just off and I would judge me too if I were getting a quick glimpse of someone. I have ridiculously low expectations though. I figure my kids are well fed, are getting a quality education, have plenty of love and witness a stable marriage--that's pretty darn good considering so many kids go without adequate food/diapers, deal with parents instability, etc.

You don't have to be off the grid to not have a bank account! They also have options to go to office, court house or where ever to pay it. It's not ok, but people do it. And a picture of your kid is way different than a picture of your nudie pictures. Either one can be stolen with very little effort from a hacker. If there is a picture you don't want leaked to the public (especially as a public figure), then don't take the picture or make sure it's not accessible from the internet. It's not that hard of a concept.
Private things should be private, but with the internet, nothing is private. Make sure there's nothing that you wouldn't want everyone in your life to see and you'll be fine.

@JJ+SA I agree! I don't think just because they are celebs they can't have privacy and in turned blamed for taking the pictures to begin with. They are private. I'm sure alot of people on here don't count on bank hacking or having pictures from there I cloud stolen.
I'm with Kate on this one. I was molested as a child and for people to consider this horrible is just ludicrous. It's not on the same level as an actual assault. Does is suck that it happened? Yes. Is it right that someone stole the pictures? No. This has happened time and time again with celebrities. If you don't want your nudie pictures leaked, then don't put them where they're fucking accessible. Problem solved. Wow that was SO hard.

While I don't think this security breach comes close to the level of violation of rape I also think that these celebrities are victims. Icloud is just about as secure as my bank account, so I do feel it's unfair to blame them that their private files were stolen. As far as blaming them for having taken nude photos, that's just wrong. I don't have nude photos because I don't like how my body looks nude, but I know plenty of people who take them for their partner and I think that's their own decision. I also think it's especially disgusting that only female celebrities were targeted.
And I have no interest in trying a PSL. I love Starbucks coffee but have no interest in sweetened coffee and any of the sweet starbucks lattes I've had taste like hot coffee ice cream and just gross.
So more of a confession than a uo but whatever. I do the drive up line to pick up the kids from preschool and I swear it is mind boggling how many people are so inconsiderate of the 20 cars behind them (and more importantly the staff's time). One person probably stood outside for a good three minutes trying to talk rationally to her tantruming kid. Dude, hurry the fuck up, put your kid in the car and go.
"The Cloud" f ing terrifies me. I don't trust it enough to actually store things I wouldn't want to lose so I'm constantly backing up my DD iphone gallery, but I am always afraid that the topless beach pics from our honeymoon are going to pop up where I least expect them.
