I know many of you have posted about having to deal with your lo being sick. Let's just say that I've got so much respect for you mommas who deal on your own with sick babies, or babies with chronic illnesses. DS got his first virus this weekend and I'm a wreck, I was having a mini panic attack listening to his breathing last night. Felt like such the ftm for the first time in a while. What has made you mom's feel like a newb lately?

    Your post has me thinking now maybe I need to take my lo in because we all got whatever he has and we have those same symptoms.

    This is my 3rd time parenting an infant and I still have FTM moments.  DS2 had blood in his urine this week; that induced panic that I haven't felt since DS1 was an infant. (FWIW DS2 is fine).

    DD got a bad cold her second week of daycare at 12 weeks old. I also got it and we were both miserable. It was hard being so sick myself and taking care of her. I ended up taking her to the doctor twice to have her checked out but it was mostly because her cough wasn't getting better.

    She's had a couple little illnesses since but I haven't felt the need to call the doctor.

    It's hard because you don't want to over react and go to the doctor for every little thing but don't want to ignore symptoms either.
