When are you spilling the beans?!

We invited my parents and DH's mom over the day after my first appointment with my OB/Gyn, so we will be telling them Sept 18th  I went to Kohls and bought two adorable frames about Grandkids.  I put papers in them that say, "We're having a… BABY!"  I'll take a picture and add it when I get the chance.  I thought it would be a cute way to tell them

I had a CP last month so am scared to tell too many people this time. I am about five weeks and so far only two close friends, my kindergarten team, and principal know. I told my team so they would understand if I wasn't feeling good or needed a break. I've only told people who I would need for support if this pregnancy doesn't hold.

If this baby sticks and my 8 week appointment goes well we'll do some kind of announcement photo while we're at Disney World the week after, then show it to people in the following weeks. I'll probably have to tell my sister when we're in Florida since I won't be riding my usual favorites or drinking at the Food and Wine Festival.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm on my mobile so I don't know how to paste the actual link, but look up number five of the very first post (the 'read this first' one) on this board. Something about click here for acronyms. I pasted it in a notepad so I can search it.

My best friend already knows because I had to tell someone! My MILs bday is around the end of the first trimester so we are going to give her a "Grandmas are the best" sweatshirt as one of her gifts to make the announcement. It's our first and their first grandchild. We will tell my parents after that and then extended family through decorated cookies at Thanksgiving. I'm hoping I can wait until Christmas/ New Years to make an announcement on fb. It's hard to keep exciting news a secret!!

We'll tell family after my 8 week appointment, but no one else until second trimester.

I told my work BFF and my S/O told two of his close friends and that's it so far.

Our EDD is 5/14/2015 - it's been so hard to keep the big secret as this is our first!  I spilled the beans to my sister only but we haven't told our parents.  We are waiting until after the 8 week appointment to tell our immediate family (if i can keep it in!) and then waiting until after 12 weeks to tell the world!
