Hello All! I'm hoping to get feedback from everyone. My temps have stayed high and I'm lightly spotting (which I did with DD1). FertilityFriend said to take a test at 10 DPO, (which of course I did early) but I've taken one almost every day since then still with BFNs. To test, I'm using the sticks that came with my FertiAid vitamins and have not gone to getting a digital test. I guess I'm setting my expectations low still thinking AF will show . What do you all think? Should I get a digital test? With #1 I spotted somewhat heavily which I thought was AF and when it didn't turn out heavier. That's when I tested, almost two weeks past the first day of spotting. Got my BFP then. What to do...what to do?!?!
If you're not turning line tests positive, you likely won't turn a digital test even if you are pregnant. Digis are less sensitive than regular line tests. But ultimately it's completely up to you, you're an adult, test or not. Personally I usually don't test, I'd rather see my period than that negative test every cycle - after two years TTC it's just easier (and more cost effective) to wait things out.
Married August 2012. Me: 41 DH: 42
Daughter from previous marriage: 20
BFP 12/19/12:
Ectopic discovered at 8 weeks, right tube removed 01/18/13
June 2013 Testing Results: Progesterone: 31.7, LH: 5, FSH: 5, Estradiol: 161 Clomid cycles Nov. 2013 and Jan, Feb, and March 2014
If you are temping and your chart looks good you could use a digital if you want. I would get a test from the dollar store and if it comes up positive, then go digital. It will save you some money. Good Luck!
