Stopping bfing and two back to back cycles have left me extra 'fluffy' my 7.5 week blump is already too big for my fat pants (

I've been wondering about this, as my pants are already uncomfortable when sitting. Stomach just doesn't like the pressure.

That would probably work but I just used an elastic hair tie and you will still have to have something hide that your pants aren't buttoned. Either a belly band or really long shirt.

I did end up using the belly band again this pregnancy but once I went to maternity pants, I thought I should've just skipped it. Maternity pants are so comfy.

I love mine! I'm 24 weeks and still in my regular work pants with the belly band.  I think maternity pants are very expensive and I'm petite so it's hard to find maternity pants that fit.  I will use the belly band for as long as I can.  When I get bigger it'll be fall/winter and I plan on doing dresses and leggings until I deliver!

My friend from work gave me one. I have to wear a suit every day to work & I just don't want to spend thousands on new suits for only 6 months. Is it as comfortable as maternity pants, no. But it does give you ease and comfort with clothing you can't quite button up yet! Certainly worth it.

I hated it because it made the waistband of the pants bunch and leave a mark on my skin under the Bella Band. And I used to worry about it slipping and my pants falling down.

I don't wear business clothes often, but I love Mothehood Maternity's work pants. Much more comfortable!

Go for the maternity pants. I was in them by 8 weeks.  With twins, the bella band just didn't work on my body.  I was more secure with my clothing and fit, as I wore the correct size maternity pants.

I love mine! I was planning to go straight to maternity pants but shopping for them was a bit of a disaster...I'm so short that I have a hard enough time finding non-maternity pants, let alone petite maternity. Sigh, so the belly band is going to hold me until I go try again in a month or so. Sigh.

I bought one 4 or 5 weeks ago and have worn it exactly once. It was bulky and I felt like I was constantly pulling my shirt down to make sure it wasn't sticking out. I am in love with maternity pants and the hair tie trick still works for regular pants. I also bought a a waistband extender thing, kinda like @pblge showed, but it's far bigger than what I need right now. I have a feeling by the time I am big enough, my body shape won't accommodate regular pants anyway.

It didn't really work well for me. It didn't stay in place very well once my bump started to be more noticeable. I say bust out the maternity pants! They're sooo comfy!

Oh, and for those who say you are short - Mothrhood Maternity petites are pretty awesome.  I won't even need to hem.

And for everything else - learn how to get things hemmed, girls!  It's usually $5-10 at a tailor and will make ALLLLLLL the difference in your clothes.  Haven't you ever seen What Not to Wear?  They always emphasize that you should buy for the fit, not the length - the length can ALWAYS be shortened, and generally very affordably.

I loved my belly band, I got mine at Target and wore it all the time. It made my work pants and jeans more comfortable to wear. I also worried about my pants falling down but the band held them up just fine. At first I had it rolled in half, then had it up all the way, then moved into maternity pants. I agree the Motherhood Maternity pants were awesome and reasonably priced. Very comfortable and light weight and they looked like just regular work pants.
