PSA: Kohl's Reward for creating a registry

Kohl's has an awesome incentive reward for opening a baby registry with them. If you create a registry online and use the promo code SNUGGLE when creating it, add at least 15 items, and do it before September 30th, they will email you a $25 Kohl's Reward that can go toward any purchase, including items not on your registry. It can take up to 3 weeks to get your reward but mine only took a week to receive by email. 

I combined the reward with a discount coupon that they had this weekend and paid only $12 for 2 dresses and 2 skirts for our baby girl.

Is there any kind of minimum purchase required to use the $25 reward or is it like a gift certificate?

It's like a gift certificate. I guess the minimum would be $25 though as you have to use it all at once.

Yes, their website has been giving me problems too. I was finally able to get the registry created, but still in the process of trying to add my 15 items.

I finally got it too! I added my 15 items but some places say you have to add at least 25 items. Do you know for sure @vrj0522‌ ? I cant find anything on their actual website about it.

I added about 18-20 items to mine and I got my $25 so I'm not exactly sure but I know for a fact I didn't add 25 items.

Sadly you don't get anything confirming it. I just went back into my registry and I have 20 items in there so if it makes you nervous, you can always add more, but I would think you're okay.

Did anyone get TWO $25 coupons? I created only one registry, with 15 items within a couple days of OP's post. A few days ago, I received my $25 coupon and then a few hours later received a second one. Each has a different code so I'm assuming I can use both?

Yes you get 15% additional but if you check their website every weekend, they usually have the same discount at least 2-3 weekends of the month so you don't need the completion discount. They will be sending you a completion coupon by mail.

@theresat858 - When you click on add to registry, you also have to select your registry from the pop up box and then it will add it. I made the same mistake when I first created mine.

Curious how long it took to receive the $25 reward? I registered last Monday and nothing yet! (besides the welcome email)

@deezidee04, I registered on 8/25 and got my $25 reward emailed to me on 8/30 so 5 days for me. I would think you'd be getting it any day now. Check your spam folder maybe?

I emailed them and they said three weeks. WTF.

Yeah, it can take up to 3 weeks but hopefully most get it sooner than that.

Doubt it. Purp probably just talked to the wrong person... besides, they hand out Kohls Cash like it's candy and nowhere in the fine print did it say an item must be purchased from the registry to qualify.

Purp, I think we agree on the fine print. However, I do think whoever you're taking to doesn't know what they're taking about. what I'm wondering is, has it been more than a week since setting up the registry?

Probably not. I did it when all yous kids did it. BUT. You guys got yours! *foot stomp*

I emailed them asking about it (knowing it probably was in the works and it just hadn't been enough time) and they were all "yeah BUT you didn't buy anything." So, that was a new twist in my hatred for Kohl's.

And I THINK (I could be wrong) I keep getting different people every time I reply to the help email. So, like 3 people have told me I have to make a purchase. What is all this fuckery!?

I JUUUUST got this:


The $25 gift will be sent to the registered email address within 2-3 weeks after completing the registry. Also, at least one item must be purchased from the registry.

I am sorry if this causes you further frustrations. Enjoy your $25 gift when you receive it.
