So, I just asked for a raise via e-mail and requested a sit down discussion. My rationale for this is due to skill level. I am one of only two therapist that can go between hospitals and work everywhere. The reason I am not paid as much is this is where I started out and they start you out lower. I have gotten yearly raises, but my compensation isn't equal to my skill level. Any tips? Advice?
Re: NBR: Anyone have any experience with asking for a raise?
She responded to my e-mail and didn't shoot me down.automatically. That is a positive sign. I have an in person meeting tomorrow morning with her. FX something positive comes out of this.
