Wait what? I thought we were gonna show. So we could pull a Carrie on her?

TJ, you're thinking of Stoney! And I thought I told you to keep it only in PMs!

  • There's time if you still want to change your orders. DH has a 3 day weekend so I am taking the afternoon off to watch a movie and go to the museum (hopefully), and then I probably won't be able to really get online to check prices until tomorrow afternoon.

  • I want some Milovia covers so badly! Four to be exact. But doesn't the exchange rate make it come out to about $23/cover?

    Of tots bots?
Yes, isn't there an EasyFit and V4 or something?

  • ITK you totally need to buy a birthday Easyfit and a Teenyfit! Put Katniss in the Teeny on her birth day then the Easy on her 1st birthday.

I love this idea, but I seriously have a ridiculous number of newborn diapers. Plus I still want to buy some workhorses, and I think if I go over two drawers of just newborn diapers, J might seriously send me to rehab.

  • Also I totally just ordered the birthday from the site TJ listed. And the incy wincy spider (because eff you SAK it is cute) and almost ordered hey diddle diddle too but they were sold out. So then I got glow in the dark and green piggy paint instead.

  • So if I have pictures taken of my kids.  So you think I should go with a sold color diaper?  Or a print?

I could always go with matching diapers (I have duplicates of blues and some of the Artist Prints).

I like solid diapers if they're wearing other clothing, or prints if they're in just a diaper/with a white tee.

Its Easy fit Verson4 or Tiny fit (not sure if they version the tiny fits - but you don't have a newborn anyway). Version 3's are in some of the same prints but I think they are gone from most everywhere.
    Thank you!

  • There are a few songs/rhymes where the words are different here. The Hokey Pokey is different. And they sing Row, row, row, your boat with several verses that have animals in them -- I only ever knew it as a round. And for Ring around the rosey, they say atishoo! instead of ashes.
  • I got a milovia tiny pirates and a happy animals cover.

Lots of folksongs/nursery rhymes have many verses that are not well known/heard often.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of different versions in print -- not surprising that they would evolve since they've been around so long -- but it's interesting to live in a place where the different versions are actively being used. I keep screwing up because I default to what I grew up with, and they're singing a different version when we go to rhyme time at the library.
