I'm so very sorry you are going through this. I would recommend checking out the miscarriage board. There's a sticky post where several people have recounted their experiences. You can also PM me if you'd like since I just had my second in very similar circumstances this week. I should have been 12w but the baby measured just over 9. Again, I am so so sorry.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had a D&C in April and it was very quick and pain free. I had a tough recovery. My body wouldn't stop bleeding. I'm pretty sure it was because when I got home, I had to care for my 32 pound 1 year old and I overdid it. I should have rested much more. It was tough emotionally but every day was a little better. I'll be thinking of you.
I am so sorry for your loss I know it's hard and having to go through a procedure doesn't really help matters. I had a D&C N12 .
I would say the procedure itself wasn't too bad because they put me under general anesthesia. I was sent home the same day w Percocet for pain. I had minor cramps and some light bleeding, I basically just stayed in bed and rested.
I found it more emotionally draining than anything else.
I wish you all the best , again I am so sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry your going through this. I've had 3 miscarriages and I had a D&C with the 2nd miscarriage. I was just so devastated that I wanted everything to just be over as soon as possible. The procedure went well and the recovery wasn't too bad also. Just had some heavier bleeding the first couple of days with cramping. Just take some time off work those first few days so you have some time to recover. Take care.
So sorry. Just went through this last week. I went in to the doctors for some light bleeding and they did an ultra sound, the baby no longer had a heartbeat. Message me if you would like to talk. D&C was hard for me emotionally not bad physically.
