So yesterday was a typical day with appts to see DD's cf docs...(I'm simplifying details here so not to bore you, those with experience ber with me!)
She has has a funky cough since birth, and yesterday they decided was the day to find out why. We had half an hour to pack bags planning on at least a week long hospital stay. They did a procedure thay required her not to eat, so we went 11 hours without breastfeeding/pumping(poor thinking on my part). In the end the cough is unrelated to her cf and she should outgrow it. She's still on iv antibiotics though, a wiggle-worm on a line is not fun!
Basically, she's fine. While we're here we're gonna focus on her poor weight gain, thankfully they want to interfere with our bfing as little as possible.
It's going to be a loonngg week of hospital food and trying to keep dd entertained. Lots of bump time at least!

DD born 1/13 via Csection at 41w5d after 47 hours of labor
So far the med adjustments have definitely helped her poop less. We're still waiting to see how she does on prilosec instead of zantac. Lots of waiting...
And I am so over the constant iv that she is convinced makes the best teether!
