Alright everybody, let's hear how last week went for everybody in the track club!
How did you do with your goals and what are your goals for the coming week?
I don't know about you, but this "disco aerobics" looks pretty...interesting. May add it to my rotation, hahaha. I kid, I kid.
Re: 8/18-8/24 Track Club
Last week my goals were to track food every day and get 8000 steps in 5 times, and i did both! I even got a 0.5 pound loss in there, although I think it is more, but i eat a TON of sodium filled foods on the weekend, evidently and i have a lot of water retention...I'm going to weigh myself on Wednesday too, to see how it differs.
Example: last Monday I weighed myself and I had gained a pound (211.7), but by Wednesday I had eaten well and went down to 208.6. Friday is pizza night and we also have hot dogs in there as well on sunday!
So this week my goals are:
1. Track food every day
2. 8000 steps three times, and 10000 steps twice
3. Eat only one slice of pizza on Friday with a salad instead of three
4. Cut my processed sugar WAY down. Most of the days I went over were because of snacking and desserts.
Here's to a great week!
I'm almost 7w pp and have lost 20 of the 50 lbs I gained while pregnant. Ideally, I'd like to lose 25 more so I can get back into my regular clothes.
I was pretty much back to normal by 12w after both previous pregnancies but I gained more weight and have this (irrational?) fear that I won't lose all the weight this time. I've always been lucky to have a high metabolism but I'm also trying to be realistic since I've been pregnant three times in the last six years and I'm not getting any younger.
My biggest problem is that I'm still eating like I'm PG. And I am walking but not enough.
Goals (starting kinda vague on purpose):
-walk every day and increase distance walked
-track all eating and eat more produce
-drink more water
I did well with my goals last week!
At least one day at 10,000 and 4 days of 8,000 or over
- I was over 10,000 everyday.
Work out a better treat system. I will conquer this sugar addiction!
- After almost going on a complete binge fest, I got over a mental hurdle and have been able to have a serving amount of candy each day. @Bpaws - yes, the gummy bears were Haribo. They are the best type of gummy bear out there!)
Spend 30 minutes on the elliptical at least 3 times this week
- Done! On days I didn't do the elliptical, I did some brisk walking or marching in place while watching TV.
This week's goals are going to be similar to last week:
To not get completely crazy, I will say at least 3 days above 10,000 steps
Continue tracking food and eating a reasonable amount of candy instead of the entire flippin' bag
Have at least 30 minutes of "active" movement each day.

- Run 3x this week - 3 miles < 40min
- eat salad 4x this week - I have a serious problem eating cookies and no veggies
- start Zumba on weds
I gain 3lbs last week even though I met my two goals of running 3x and no fast food. I was a little devasted. So time for a few more healthy food choices.
My goals this week:
Eat clean, avoid the jar of potty training candy
Drink 100+ ounces of water
Lose 2 pounds
Walk 2 miles minimum daily and don't avoid the hills
My goals:
100 oz of water a day
At least 3 walks over 2 miles.
Cut out the sweets and cut down the carbs
How are mom's of 2 managing? I'm active during the day chasing my 2 year old but have a hard time exercising.
I had a non - scale victory today...I got my wedding jewelry back on! It's totally because it hasn't been that humid/hot here lately and not necessarily because I've lost weight. But I had to put them away back in June sometime, so I'll take it!
I'm eight weeks pp and still haven't been released to exercise. I am hoping tomorrow my doctor will release me and I can get moving. After surgery last week I gained 5 pounds. I think it's just from the swelling but it is still incredibly depressing to see that number on the scale. I am mentally sinking.
1. Met fluid goal last week, I intend to keep it up because I'm horrible about drinking anything but coffee.
2. Keep tracking. I joined WW and so far I haven't gone over my daily points.
3. Start moving this weekend. We have a walking path around our field that is 1/4 mile long so hopefully I can sneak out tomorrow evening.
Do any of you use the "Daily Burn" and if so is it worth the money?
