I love how when I am supposed to sleep at night I can't and the nights I work its all I can do to keep my eyes open.

On a happier not I get to see my uncle and cousins tomorrow its been a few months and I am really excited to see them as is my 4 year old son.

Yep.  Sleep.  I wish I could get more than an hour or so at a kick.  About the time my bladder doesn't wake me, my hip starts hurting, my 2 year old comes in to say hi, or my husband starts snoring... and it's always on a day I have an appointment or something going on, never on a day I can sleep in or take advantage of nap time.

We had a little shower thrown for us by our neighbors yesterday! I was expecting it to be more of an informal get-together, but they did a lovely job with the food and decor. It was a great time!

I really think LO is breech at this point. I used to feel a very obvious butt under my ribs and jabs to the right in my pelvis and kicks to the right up top. Last week I woke up because LO was moving and it was incredibly painful. Now I get simultaneous movement laterally. I have no idea if I am feeling head and butt at the same time, or butt and feet.... I hope he is not breech because I will be creating all kinds of problems for work if I have to take 8-10 weeks off to recover from a c-section.


Funny note: I thought it was called c-section because the incision was c-shaped until I was 25 when my friend showed me her scar.

My little guy was breech for 2 days this week and flipped himself back.  Despite measuring almost 2 weeks ahead (mostly limbs) he still has room to flip, and does so constantly.  FX your LO flips back!

I thought my LO was breech too but had an ultrasound on Friday and to my surprise she is head down! I think I feel her back on my right side, but I have a hard time locating her head. Maybe because it is low under my pubic bone. I don't feel feet or hands like some posters have said. But I am also a FTM. 

I feel like he must have changed positions significantly because I had a u/s which said he was head down, then he shifted, and now all of his movements are completely different. I have an appt on Wednesday, so I'll ask then.

Can't wait for DH to put the crib together today! He finished up painting & changing all the outlets (old house) in the room yesterday & it's looking so awesome! Can't believe we are getting so close to meeting this little guy :-)

I've been MIA since Thursday, but we had our shower yesterday and it was amazing. We got so much stuff. We dont have to buy any of the big items. We're so overwhelmed and thankful! Now DH only has to touch up the last bits of mud with the sander and we can prime and paint the nursery! Then carpet being installed Monday the 25th. Then I can DECORATE!! We got the entire Jungle Jill nursery theme set at our shower so I can't wait to get her little jungle safari room all set up.

Toy boxes are f'ing expensive! My DD is almost 15m and we just got one yesterday. Thank goodness for the $20 collapsibles! Works for me!

Hope all the breech babies flip! Pretty sure lo is head down but sometimes I feel him all over like he is chilling like a starfish.

Yesterday my step dad's brother and sister in law (people I have only met once, they are in VA and we are in LA) sent me a gift for the baby. She actually crocheted a sweet little hat and blanket. What an unexpected and wonderful gift.

Best Sunday morning ever. Dh got up with DD (he never does this!) Went and got me an iced coffee, and now he is in the kitchen making us all breakfast.

He got a beej last night, so I'm sure the accounts for it.

 I think the simultaneous lateral movement is caused by big kicks. You can feel the glutes in action on one side and the feet on the other end.

I was advised not to make changes to eye prescriptions during pregnancy since pregnancy can impact vision, and it's usually reversible.

We just dropped Holly off at her new home and I can't stop crying! I'm going to miss our foster kitty (((

Went to the farmers market this morning. So many moms wearing little babies, and pregnant women.

Besides the yummy food we got, I can't wait to sport my barefoot LO around in a sling at the farmers market!!

2nd set of photos being shot today, since apparently I'm selfish for getting my first ones done without SO....

Last night's haul from the garden.  There is should be more ready today.  I LOVE when the veggies start coming out a bunch at a time.

I put together our travel system and emailed DH pictures. He called me and was so excited, it was adorable! I think this afternoon I'm going to wash some baby clothes and work on a few nursery projects.

I also had my baby shower yesterday with my family. It was so great LO got so many things! One weird thing, my car seat base got cleared off my registry and MIL mentioned she bought herself one. Didn't think anything of it well turns out she bought herself one... off my registry...along with my giraffe I wanted for DD. Wtf?? So confusing.

This is exactly how my LO is sitting. I always feel a big bulge on my right side right under my ribs (her butt/back) then little bulges on my left side that come and go (her feet), a lot of times her feet are higher up in my ribs too. I can definitely tell when she stretches her legs out because both sides of my belly will bulge out like crazy. Then when she gets hiccups I feel them right on my cervix and along the right side. This is how DS1 positioned ALL the time, and my u/s's confirmed what I was feeling was right.

I'm walking the golf course with DH, a friend of ours, and his two sons. The youngest is 4 and it's so cute to watch him hit the ball!! I know DH is having visions of doing this with our little guy, and it's so nice to see how patient he is with the kids.

Just found out that my husband is going to need physical therapy for his shoulder, and he has to go see an orthopedic surgeon.
I need him to get better, but this is going to cost a ton... So I know how you feel about unexpected expenses @MRSclarke08‌ !!

I feel like my baby is in that position too. I feel her little feet just under my sternum and I spend a lot of my time on my right side I think, so she sort of rests in a C shape there. I hope that's the right way for her to be...

I am dragging my feet today. I made a nice big breakfast: scrambled eggs, home style potatoes with bell peppers, and some sausage. It's the crack of 12:30 and I am still just farting around on the internet.

Last night DH and I went through our registries and prioritized the things we need to buy based on the budget we have available, which isn't a lot. Fortunately we were able to get all the priority 1 items and we had some gift cards to help soften the blow. Should be getting a bunch of stuff in the mail soon! Which I love.

Last baby shower is on Wednesday. The one for my office. Going to start on my thank you notes today. My arm's going to be tired by the end of today I think!

Also, WTF is a durian fruit? I am pretty glad that I stopped taking the fruit pictures months ago. I would be pretty hard pressed to find this weird looking thing.

FFIL's g/f, who knows all the crap he's been into, is giving us a bunch of presents for the baby.  She is mailing them b/c we refuse to go near FFIL's house.  This is the "first of many" she's sending,

 

 and I'm not sure if I should keep it or send everything back.  If life were simple, I'd love this woman.  She's awesome.  But I'm struggling with how I feel about her and her gifts b/c she is standing by FFIL.  I'd get it more if they had a long history, but they've only been together since Nov.  Ugh.  FI is leaving it up to me.  He doesn't want to deal with one more FFIL thing right now.

She probably just wanted those particular items and that's cool, but she shouldn't have had the store take them off the registry. That's kind of weird. Just buy them without using the registry right? Seems easy enough.

This registry is online that's the only reason i know she did it. Not upset with her she's just horrible with technology so i definitely had a wtf moment. Lol

That's a tough call! No advice here just sympathy for all you guys are dealing with.

@MrsSarahRenee It's a small, textured blanket thing.  The blue parts are so damn soft.  Ugh!  I want to lean towards excepting them, b/c they are JUST from her according to the card with it, but I'm afraid of it being used against us later in a "I gave you stuff, you should give FFIL a second chance" kind of way.

Any local Asian market should have them. They look like some prehistoric/alien fruit. They weird me out.
