I am very lucky that my baby started sleeping through the night super early, but I am pretty sure she only accomplished this because she ate nearly straight through 4 hours before she went to bed to stock up on food. I can't imagine only feeding her like, once in that time period and then still expecting her to sleep all night without anything.
This whole thing is so ridiculous, it could by an Onion article. If you want something that is going to adhere to your schedule, please don't have a baby, just buy a houseplant.
Funny thing is, in 3 months I have kept my baby alive with on demand feeding, but the plant I brought home from work for my maternity leave has died because I forgot to water it ... priorities ...
