I say yes to popcorn though and almonds! I can't really talk about the teenager cravings since I've been wanting Chef Boyardee - I mean, WTF? That stuff is awful!! And I specifically want the ones with meatballs - that is some mystery meat right there! Cray!

My phone died while I was at Walmart and I didn't get to see anyone's suggestions. I ended up getting stuff for strawberry shortcake and ice cream bars. And make up...because I'm not in the 3.5%.

Woo!  I'm finally home and on my computer, so I can post a pic of the tattoo I have on my back!  It's the exact same as this one, just a little longer.

Thanks!  It took forever to complete due to finances.  I think it took 3 years all in all.

My kid has decided that sleep is not an option. Ever. 

She won't go to bed unless we lay with her. When we get up to leave, she jumps up crying. We choose not to do CIO, but in desperation, and really just needing a break after 45 minutes of this shit, when we put her in her crib, she screams bloody murder and gets this terrible panic sound...when you go in there, she is physically shaking. I can't do that to her. 

But. Oh. My. Goodness. She refuses to sleep. REFUSES.

I think I'm going to take her to the pedi tomorrow just to check her ears because I have no idea what else to do.

Also thanks @SNLT1012, you reminded me that I *need* strawberry shortcake rolls. The other day I walked into the break room & saw a sleeve of oval-shaped crackers, and my brain decided it was a giant strawberry shortcake roll. I was so disappointed to find it was just lame ass crackers. Ever since then I've wanted to buy like 15 of the real thing...but I forgot... and now I just remembered. Mmmmm....

We told DH's family tonight. His sisters were cute -- they didn't want to crack the egg, so they were trying to get the note out with tweezers. Once they finally read the note, they were super excited, and I was only a little embarrassed... so I guess it went well! My mom still hasn't gotten her package, and my dad won't be home until Sunday... so they won't know for a few days. I'm really eager to tell them now that DH's family knows!!

Have you tried sleep lady shuffle? Or the chair method where you slowly move further away from the crib each night?

LOVE tattoos!
My first tattoo was dragon wings on my back. Second is a Japanese inspired half-sleeve with a dragon, koi, lotus, & cherry blossoms. The newest covers my stomach (which I'm sure will look crazy in the near future) of a fairy, butterflies, and flowers.

I have a few. 

The first one I got is baby blocks on my shoulder spelling out my oldest's name.  

Second was on each wrist "live to ride, ride to live" with my dads birthday and the day he died. He died in a motorcycle accident and riding was his favorite thing to do. Long story short, his best friend was bringing over a box of things from his desk at work and couldn't stop crying. When he pulled up to our house and went to get the box from the trunk a model motorcycle my dad had kept repeating "live to ride, ride to live" over and over and it made his friend stop crying and start laughing. That was my dad  

Third is 4 leaf clovers down my side with "faith hope love luck" between each one. Traditionally this is what each leaf on the clover stand for. It's a nod to my Irish heritage. 

And last, a footprint that was drawn for me to scale of the size of Jonah's foot when he passed. It was drawn by another bumpie who's daughter was still born 3 days after Jonah. I got it on a cross country date with another bumpie who's daughter was also still born 2 days before Jonah.

ETA:  My poor J2, I don't have any tattoos for her, it's in my plans for the future at some point.

My dad's lifelong nickne / motorcycle group name was Bear so I have a bear paw on my right foot. I also have a lotus flower on my back, which symbolizes starting over and building something beautiful out of muck and mire, which I also have a bit of experience in.

Don't know about ironing, but I do know that after a few washes the pads become much more flexible and lay more flat.  Sometimes they just package funny.

Man, my mom and half-brothers (they are 9 and 12) are visiting for three days. My mom and husband just got in a huge fight (short back story, the 9-year-old is a total brat, bad mouthing her all the time and cussing and she does nothing about it). He starts throwing a legit temper tantrum, which is about the eighteenth one since I got home from work, and my husband basically tells him to knock it off because I have a headache and my mom goes off on him about "disciplining her children." He went up to his cousin's to cool off, my mom took the boys to get ice cream and came back and basically told me my husband was a jerk, we had words and she just left to stay in a hotel. Now I am sitting here alone, eating a pb&j and trying to wind myself down enough to go to bed.

Cause I needed more drama in my life.

I seriously feel for everyone who has been having parental problems lately, I know I'm not the only one and it sucks.

I'm still on the tattoo thing. I most definitely want more. I really want a small airplane (747) if I can ever settle on where to put it! It's so hard to choose.

It's time for me to go to bed.  I have my first official appointment tomorrow (I had one earlier to discuss the ultrasound).  I am very nervous as I have been bleeding every.single.day since about 7 weeks (I am 10 weeks tomorrow).  I keep telling myself that everything will be fine, but I'm still nervous.  Huge kudos to all of you PGAL ladies, you are all made of strong stuff and I look up to all of you.

So we are hanging out at a 7/11 with a cafe seating area in Cambridge (downtown Boston) We just got out of a concert and we are waiting for the crowd to disperse some.

I just ate an M&m cookie ice cream sandwich. It was. Amazing.

@Peledreamsofrain‌ your tattoo is gorgeous. I've always loved that kind of tattoo, but am too chicken to go that large.

This is my tattoo. It's a black stem with a red rose. I was in an abusive relationship in college and it kind of symbolizes coming out of that dark place. I'd love more, specifically one for my kids. I don't want a literal one with names/dates, so I'm having trouble visualizing something that will incorporate my little loves and the one we lost.
