Wakeful period??

Hi ladies. My dd2 is almost 7 months (on the 12th) and all of a sudden she is up 2-3-4 times a night and just awake?! No need to eat; just talking and playing in her crib but waking the whole house up . Anyone else have this? Don't remember this with dd1... Hope it ends soon
